Operation Jade Helm 15 (Page 2)

Outbackjack: The gospels are no where near the same as today as when they were written. It is even acknowledged that Mathew was a bit creative with his Gospel.I mean he was not even there.

The Romans are part of the problem. They had too many gods and from a political angle it makes more sense sense to have one god and one book so you can control the people.

Here is a classic quote from Jesus:

"Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"

This is quite literally manna from heaven for the Romans if they didn't make that up themselves. They did afterall write their own chapter into the New Testament.

chronology: Jack we must leave this here. Frankly it is an argument that has been run to death over thousands of years.

Yes the Gospel text you quoted are the genuine words of Jesus, but let us leave this argument here. Like I said, even dear Romulus and Remus would head for the Hills if they heard you starting this argument all over again.

And yes Jack, I know Romulus and Remus are mythical persons. Most scholars believe they in fact were abandoned aufans and the 'wolf' was in fact a prostitute who rescued them and raised them.

davidk14: .

I'm sorry. Have you ever tried to write down word for word what someone said who was speaking for hours?

Even those that document legal procedings, a stenographer, don't get it right all the time.

So, 2000 years ago, how much parchment would have been needed to be produced to hold all of Christ's teaching? Word for word? Sorry.

His story is documented from one person to another to another to another. Some of it are great stories and stuff however, I just can't put blind faith into it. Great stories, teachings, etc.

But to base my existence on a concept that He died for my sins? Sorry. Can't buy it. Not even a stretch for me. Man of Peace? Sure...why not.

Chrono..

I had to look that one up (Pax Augusta). Where did you find this? It is a phrase that is not used regularly or at all. It is very old world. But thanks, enjoyed reading about it.

Oh..trusting in Christ? Um...good for you. Interesting read. Good story. However, I can't remember what I ate two weeks ago. Get my drift?

Captain Canada
Captain Canada: Easiest way to bring a nation to it's knees, even into bankruptcy is to slowly destroy it's lifelines

Knock down the electricity grid which it don't need much effort or equipment to inflict catastrophic effects upon a country
Just penetrate a small hole in a specific small piece of hardware on a supply line in deferent locations hundreds of KM's apart to overload the transformers one by one to obtain maximum effect normally or even remote chance a nation has a large supply of such transformers to rectify the problem on a short notice
Like David mention above
No electricity there's nothing or something like that
