Australia's reaction to Sydney attack: #illridewithyou

foosquad: It's really heartening to see everyday Australians coming forward to express solidarity with their Muslim compatriots who are fearing an Islamophobic backlash due to the attack in Sydney earlier this week.

This is how a resilient and compassionate country should react to an event of this sort. Bravo Australia!

Look at how we treat our Indigenous people and refugees.We bribe backward third world hellholes to imprison men,women and children.

foosquad: You're right, it isn't always compassionate. Australia also has a reputation for being unwelcoming towards legal immigrants and exchange students from S. Asia. On this occasion, however, it was, and deserves praise for it.

They vote in people to make legislation that aren't.
