davidk1: Zanjan said: Not on OUR planet. Of course, there are other solar systems, probably some much older than ours. Wherever intelligent life is evolved enough, yes, they'd have religion too.

David responds:

Religion on our planet is man-made. Before man came into being, religion did not exist. Maybe God did, but religion did not.

For you to say that other intelligent life would have religion is a real stretch and here is why.

We know that there are billions, and billions, and billions and billions of galaxies with untold billions more that we do not see.

And each one of those billions and billions of galaxies has billions and billions and billions of solars syestems and for you to say that they have religion is not realistic.

So, for you to say the Jesus Christ is the one and only interpretation which your religion is based and that all intelligent life is also based on is...well....not realistic.

Zanjan: Your logic doesn't hold up. Proof is on our own planet. God chose to do this once; He can choose to do it anywhere in the universe, as many times as He wishes. We already know He made other habitable planets - whether they're habitable for US isn't known yet.

Most of those galaxies no longer exist as you see them. Nevertheless, God had one purpose in mind when creating the universe; that was to build a creature that could know and worship Him. He created a Revelator once, then continued to create Them again and again.

Earth is just one place in time. God physically designed us to live under the conditions of this planet. He could certainly design others to live under different conditions on a different planet. Intelligence isn't confined to a particular physical design but higher intelligence does require a special kind of brain. Whereas, higher intellect requires a relationship with God.

God's methods are the same and unchanging; His variations on those are countless. The worlds of God are infinite in number - that comes from scripture.

Zanjan: I didn't say my religion is based on Jesus Christ. I'm not a Christian.

I can assure you, wherever there is evolved life on other planets, there's been other Revelators of God. It's not likely They appeared all at the same time on every living planet, given that planets weren't all made at the same time.

davidk1: .

My point is that religion is man-made. Does not matter if it is Christian or Jewish or Islam. Man came up with those concepts. Is it arrogant to say with the trillions of different possible options to say that anything that man can come up with, is what is going on in the universe? Even considering that God exists is a stretch.

Me? As being raised as a Jew, there is nothing between me and the idea of God. Did God create the universe? Maybe....maybe not. But to say that the religions that man created are used by other intelligent organisms is really a huge stretch. We as humans can not even comprehend the distance between earth and the nearest star.

Zanjan: SOME religion is man-made......pseudo religions are called 'folk' religions. How you were raised is not what you are now - you can only blame your parents until you're 18 years old.

God made Divine religion through His infallible Revelators - they are the reflection of God's mind and attributes, pure and undefiled, and packaged according to the capacity of humans at the given time. As such, they were in a language the people could understand.

After that, men tinkered so much with it, they hardly resembled what God delivered. Fallible men made it into their own senseless versions; some people can't tell the difference because they're ignorant and their hearts aren't pure.

Zanjan: I don't make any distinction between Them - They were all pure Mirrors. I love the Voice of God wherever and whenever He spoke. Now ask me which is my favourite Revelation and I'll tell you it's the most recent one - it has new lessons and new plans.

I don't care to wander around aimlessly looking for something new to do or repeat what's already been done.

Why is a copy or imitation of the truth sound strange!
Just look at how many different patents of mouse traps there are.

Zanjan: Every atheist I know has stolen the Golden Rule. Unfortunately, they don't know how to use it so it stays on their dusty shelf.

Like the Ark of the Covenant, the Philistines thought they had stolen something valuable. They didnt know how to use it it either but at least they did try with amusing results. David is credited with bringing it back but no biggie, the Philistines said take this bloody thing away from us, already!

I laughed so hard when I first read that. No wonder David was "dancing naked".

Zanjan: Good for Austria! If people refuse to show respect for the sacred, they should be firmly taught it. If they continue to show disrespect, they deserve a slap upside the head to teach them the lesson more convincingly. There's no excuse for lying either. Very uncivilized.

That was nothing but hate speech.

Blackshoes: Ghost there's a big difference between schizophrenia and those that actually heard God
One is a nut that believes everything he hears within himself, much like many atheist believing whatever they think is true, even though they have no clue!

Prophet tell the truth', and occasionally foretells of something that will happen
The Biblical test of any prophet is if the prophet denied God word or foretells falsehoods is not a prophet.
