Zanjan: Not many. I've seen the leather sandals they make and sell in Israel. Thick and stiff clunkers - like saddle leather. My first impression was "blisters".

You realize the story is a myth, right? Originally, it was published under the title "Of the Jew Joseph who is still alive awaiting the last coming of Christ." Whew.

I think the author was really very ignorant or that was a typo - if it had said "the True Joseph", one might have learned something because THAT isn't a myth. It's a bit deep for modern Christians though.

Blackshoes: The reason I quote from God Word ', Is there no one above or beyond Him.
I'm just an old fart. Whether or not you process all knowledge? If you lack the truth of He that always was" Is ", and always will be" then you lack the only knowledge of any real importance.

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” (1 Corinthians 2:10)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” (John 14:26)
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH …” (JOHN 16:13)

Blackshoes: The path you seek is before you. The understanding you lack can be had. All you need do is humble yourself to God. Lean not on your own understanding. Let go and let God.

1 Corinthians

8:1. Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge.
Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

Proverbs 3:5-10
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Zanjan: Somehow you think everyone is seeking a path. Well, some have found it, some are trodding the well-worn path, but some have walked it right through the gates.

Anyone can be charitable; that's easy. Courtesy requires only a little effort. Submission to God is a tad more difficult. Sacrifice is the mountain to climb. Unity is the top of the world.

Zanjan: Ghost: " Don't we have any NEW books to quote from? "

We do. The Baha'i scriptures. Probably too much reading for you - not pages or chapters but actual BOOKS, in the modern sense - more than 100 VOLUMES just from Baha'u'llah, alone. There are more books from His son, Abdu'l-Baha........and that's not including the books and books of historical narratives.

What would you like quoted first?

Zanjan: The Middle East has traditionally been the darkest, most corrupt place on earth - that's why a Revelator always appears there. No one else can make a change or bring on a new day.

The Spiritual Sun always rises in the East; like the physical sun, it rises higher, brighter and hotter as it moves West across the heavens. It sets when His word has reached that far. Traditionally, there's a long spiritual night before a new day dawns.

However, everything has changed. The proverbial winter of the soul has passed. The Age of Aquarius has arrived, pouring out the waters of knowledge upon all mankind. In the M.E., you're seeing the last vestiges of an old world because the Sun is still rising, it's still early morning, still the springtime of a new cycle.

"By My Self! The day is approaching when We will have rolled up the world and all that is therein, and spread out a new order in its stead. He, verily, is powerful over all things."
( Baha'u'llah- Gleanings)

No one can deny a New World Order is here and still unfolding; permanent world peace is on its way.

God says "THIS is a Day that will not be followed by night".

This article is about the use of the term New World Order in conspiracy theory. For other uses, see New World Order.

The reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States (1776). The Latin phrase "novus ordo seclorum", appearing on the reverse side of the Great Seal since 1782 and on the back of the U.S. one-dollar bill since 1935, translates to "New Order of the Ages"[1] and alludes to the beginning of an era where the United States of America is an independent nation-state; conspiracy theorists claim this is an allusion to the "New World Order".[2]
The New World Order or NWO is claimed to be an emerging clandestine totalitarian world government by various conspiracy theories.[3][4][5][6][7]
The common theme in conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government—which will replace sovereign nation-states—and an all-encompassing propaganda whose ideology hails the establishment of the New World Order as the culmination of history's progress. Many influential historical and contemporary figures have therefore been purported to be part of a cabal that operates through many front organizations to orchestrate significant political and financial events, ranging from causing systemic crises to pushing through controversial policies, at both national and international levels, as steps in an ongoing plot to achieve world domination.[3][4][5][6][7]
Before the early 1990s, New World Order conspiracism was limited to two American countercultures, primarily the militantly anti-government right and secondarily that part of fundamentalist Christianity concerned with the end-time emergence of the Antichrist.[8] Skeptics, such as Michael Barkun and Chip Berlet, observed that right-wing populist conspiracy theories about a New World Order had not only been embraced by many seekers of stigmatized knowledge but had seeped into popular culture, thereby inaugurating a period during the late 20th and early 21st centuries in the United States where people are actively preparing for apocalyptic millenarian scenarios.[4][6] Those political scientists are concerned that mass hysteria over New World Order conspiracy theories could eventually have devastating effects on American political life, ranging from escalating lone-wolf terrorism to the rise to power of authoritarian ultranationalist demagogues.[4][6][9]"

"Islam Beliefs About The End of The World
February 16, 2013 By BeliefsTV
All faiths have beliefs about the end of the world, whether it’s Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism or Islam, the last days do not seem to be a time of joy.
Though the Quran does not give specifics there are many signs given to show the end times are approaching according to Islam beliefs.
Muslims believe when the day of judgement is near people will fall away from Allah and society will break down, Christianity will begin to rule.
Many believe that Armageddon will begin in the Middle East and thus the events of the past several years have caused many to say it is near. Some other Islam beliefs about the end of the world include:
It will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions.
Untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy.
It will be hot in winter (and vice versa).
When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours.
Orators and lecturers lie openly.
People dispute over petty issues.
Women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring, and barren women remain happy on account of having no responsibility of offspring.
Oppression, jealousy, and greed become the order of the day.
People blatantly follow their passions and whims.
Lies prevail over the truth.
Violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common.
Immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly.
Children are a cause of grief and anger for their parents.
The Major signs will occur near the end of time, then a great leader Imam Mehdi will come and Jesus will appear and urge his followers to become Muslims.
The Dajjal will come and lead a great army against Muslims but Muslims will triumph. In the end a trumpet will be blown and only Muslims will survive."

Zanjan: Now we know you get all your info from those who suffer from paranoia and nationalist thinking that the USA is the center of the world. Conspiracy theorists believe the USA has made first contact with an extraterrestrial civilization, that they walk among us. They're upset the government refuses to identify even one of them.

My my, what would the people do without the government to spot their enemies for them?

A least they're acknowledging the presence of alien intelligence, far higher than their own.

"Therefore you embrace the NEW WORLD ORDER?"

One has no choice - they're living in it, whether they like it or not. Some aren't good at adapting so have been dysfunctional, unable to catch up to speed. They hadn't prepared themselves for the inevitable, which has overwhelmed them.

By the way, no Muslim believes Christianity will ever rule the world again; that's because Muhammad appeared, establishing Islam. Imam Mahdi (the One who will arise) is the last Imam of Islam (the 12th), a direct descendant of Muhammad. He makes the Great Announcement of the end of the world. He will judge all mankind and choose the best Muslims to be with Him. (read it in the Quran)
