Do you Trust your Government? LiptonCambell: Statistics show that most people do NOT trust their government; Do you? Why, or Why not? Kaiya_: The people are suppose to be the government and the government officials suppose to work for us. but they dont they work for corporate interests and steal all our money. Comandante FiLTH: Do you? - No. Why not? - On a personal level, I am very slow to trust. Trust is a gift and I do not know my government. I do not know the true character of each individual. Politicians have shown themselves to be untrustworthy. The way I think, is that a measure of cautiousness is necessary to keep them in check. I'm not seeing why I should trust my government (or any other government). Is trust necessary? How will trusting my government be beneficial? I shouldn't have to rely on 'trust', I should have to rely on what they do, their actions and criticise or commend any government based on their actions and policies. (Edited by Comandante FiLTH) Steve02: I don't trust the current Australian Government, not with Tony Abbott as prime minster, their is just something about him which I don't trust. lori100: Here's good reason not to trust the govt.....several top nuclear weapons officers were recently fired for allegedly refusing orders....at least some have morals....---------------- Cherry Mischief: Either you like your own posts or you have a stalker that likes your posts "ASAP" as soon as you post them. As for trusting my government. Who trusts a politician? lori100: ...seems like you are a stalker ....following me from thread to thread for no reason other then mocking.......just one of several that do the same.... lori100: Yes, I love my posts............and it still applies...^^......following me from thread to thread for no reason other then mocking... lori100: yes, Filth...it is interesting....isn't it..?.....Lipton went to another thread after I posted to mock me again....so many stalkers....so little time..... Comandante FiLTH: Almost as a mild obsession. As if you have control of a handful of minds that they can't look away or be indifferent towards your postings. Why do you think that is the case? Comandante FiLTH: No, we prefer to remain dead. I envy Lori's ability to draw a crowd without willing it. I guess there is no one who trust governments. Cherry Mischief: Lori fascinates me, I won't pretend otherwise. I will however defend that I have never spoke ill of her and I have never mocked her. Yes, I did bring up the "like" thing, but only because I found it amusing is all. I just don't think she needs to like her own posts is all. | Politics Chat Room 79 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
