chronology
chronology: I don't know Lori, we must just wait and see. An example I give about these situations is David Smith. You have never heard of him but David reported Ian Brady a child killer to the Police.

But all his life David was beaten up, had rocks thrown through his windows, was jeered at in the streets. David was a tough working class Guy, so he weathered the beating and name calling like a Duck does water off it's back.

All his life never he could never go into Bars in his hometown, Manchester 'sorry David, I must ask you to leave, you know why, some one will throw a punch at you and there will be damage to my premises' .

People just were convinced he had been involved in the murders.

We just do not know the facts yet about Virginia, it is unlikely these respectable Americans could find themselves rolling around being kicked and stomped on on some filthy pavement like David was by jeering ugly rowdies, but even so, cruel words from respectable fellow professionals may hurt them just as much.

By the way, David got a few good punches back himself, he was a tough lad and could defend himself well, but not against a world out to get him.

lori100: The Pentagon Papers, officially titled United States – Vietnam Relations, 1945–1967: A Study Prepared by the Department of Defense, is a United States Department of Defense history of the United States' political-military involvement in Vietnam from 1945 to 1967. The papers were discovered and released by Daniel Ellsberg, and first brought to the attention of the public on the front page of The New York Times in 1971.[1][2] A 1996 article in The New York Times said that the Pentagon Papers had demonstrated, among other things, that the Johnson Administration "systematically lied, not only to the public but also to Congress."[3]

More specifically, the papers revealed that the U.S. had secretly enlarged the scale of the Vietnam War with the bombings of nearby Cambodia and Laos, coastal raids on North Vietnam, and Marine Corps attacks, none of which were reported in the mainstream media.[4]

For his disclosure of the Pentagon Papers, Ellsberg was initially charged with conspiracy, espionage and theft of government property, but the charges were later dropped after prosecutors investigating the Watergate Scandal soon discovered that the staff members in the Nixon White House had ordered the so-called White House Plumbers to engage in unlawful efforts to discredit Ellsberg.[5]

In June 2011, the entirety of the Pentagon Papers was declassified and publicly released.[6]
-----------------------Although President Lyndon B. Johnson insisted that the aim of the Vietnam War was to secure an "independent, non-Communist South Vietnam", a January 1965 memorandum by Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara stated that the real U.S. goal was "not to help a friend, but to contain China------------------For the military coup d'etat against Ngo Dinh Diem, the U.S. must accept its full share of responsibility. Beginning in August 1963 we variously authorized, sanctioned and encouraged the coup efforts of the Vietnamese generals and offered full support for a successor government.
In October we cut off aid to Diem in a direct rebuff, giving a green light to the generals. We maintained clandestine contact with them throughout the planning and execution of the coup and sought to review their operational plans and proposed new government.

Thus, as the nine-year rule of Diem came to a bloody end, our complicity in his overthrow heightened our responsibilities and our commitment in an essentially leaderless Vietnam."[
---------(they put DIem in power , then later had him killed when he was no longer needed...)

All the websites claim he was anti-war.

In todays world he would have won a Nobel prise for his speeches.

The Vietnamese at the Paris conference have said that at that point the mental illness that was through out the US govt staff was totally evident.

I think Bush Jr was the first person have been ' in ' the Vietnam war, even if in his case that meant hiding in the bushes in CA, to have been at work in the White House.

No other 'namer has been allowed in to the white house staff.

Kissinger was anti-semitic and banned from the UK. After Jon Snow and Channel Four interviewed him several time about US policies the homes of the TV shows producers was raided.

This lead to the discovery of a side table from the White House in one of their homes.

After looking in to this the Police asked what sort of wood it was made of and the trail lead to Concentration camps in South America where the poor were forced to work and had felled the tree.

Kissinger was followed by Jewish intelligence as he tried to escape across London on the Tube.

He was punched and his face cut on the crowded train and blood from the cut was collected for the Jewish Intelligence to analysis.

BERNY xP
BERNY xP: Very interesting thread. Which consciperacies one believes in could be a good way to understand how childhood and pubescent life experience affects adults.

In my experience most people past a certain age accept or reject conspiracies regardless of supporting evidence. Meaning some accept a theory which has little to no support, while another will reject a theory that has overwhelming evidence. Sometimes one individual will be all over the place with what they accept and deny.

An example would be someone who demands aliens built the pyramids. But scoffs at the idea of ghosts or a god. Not claiming one requires the other. The thought I have is more that none of the above is more provable than the next. There are eye witness claims of each. Excluding that they constructed pyramids anyhow. There is no recorded witness of that but of aliens there is. Of course there are eye witness reports of Yeti, Bigfoot and mermaides also.

My personal favorite conspiracy is the young girls from England who photographed the fairies. Of course one of the women eventually said the pictures were faked. Though she said one of the photographs was not to her knowledge fake. The older cousin who made the fairy cutouts and thought up the scheme (according to the younger) never commented on the authenticity. Recently, I read a write up suggesting the younger said all but the first were fake to get peace from the press. Of course everyone has a preconcieved belief but the story is facinating regardless. If fake they did an exceptional job for young amature photographers. If the first real and then others faked, this is explainable. My personal opinion on the whole thing is beside the point, the fascination for me is the reactions and photography, regardless of how it was done.

" Pentagon Papers. They revealed that, early on, the government had knowledge that the war as then resourced could most likely not be won. Further, as an editor of the New York Times was to write much later, these documents "demonstrated, among other things, that the Johnson Administration had systematically lied, not only to the public but also to Congress, about a subject of transcendent national interest and significance".[10]"Wiki

The papers did not reveal Nixon having had done anything wrong. And history has revealed that US military did always go in to other counties next to Vietnam.

BERNY xP: I am a European Jew but not an Israeli. I had never heard of it. Sorry, I was just asking who was gathering intellegence on Kissinger. I can ask my Rabbi if you prefer.

I am not argueing the point, am trying to understand it. I do not know when Kissinger lived so am not sure if Israel was even a Jewish State at the time. Meaning not sure if he was post or pre WWII.

My confussion is not based on my religious faith (which teaches nothing of Kissinger) but a poor history education.

It was just a question. Trying to understand if the Israeli government was following him. Or if just a Jewish political group or just London Jews.

Bernadette,

You can take that response two ways.

1) As a Jew (regardless of Nationality and language barriers) you should know that "Jewish Intellegence" is the slang reference to the Israeli governments intellegency agency more commonly known as Mossad.

2) As a Jew you should be aware of the underground "Jewish Intellegence". A group I am guessing that is like a Jewish Illuminati or Templers. A secret group plotting and doing this and that. (sounds like an anti-semetic conspiracy theory to me)

Either way, I ponder is he questioning your faith or race?
Or does he think you are covering up the fact that Jews of the world have a secret intellegency group, and Jews everywhere are in on the coverup so you can take over the world!

I can honestly say, I know about Henry Kissinger but have not decided what Duncan means by "Jewish Intellegence". Though, I am allowed to not know, as I am not a Jew. But Berny, according to Duncan you know, so please tell me. As all Jews know and I for a fact know you are a Jew.

A’man—Military Intelligence

A’man, or Agaf Hamode’in in Hebrew, produces comprehensive national intelligence briefings for the prime minister and the cabinet, daily intelligence reports, risk-of-war estimates, target studies on nearby Arab countries, and communications intercepts. It also handles cross-border operations. The organization uses reconnaissance commando teams behind enemy lines, aerial reconnaissance and military attaches stationed in overseas embassies to gather intelligence.

The Shin Bet

Sherut Habitachon Haklali (Shabak), better known as the Shin Bet, is Israel’s internal counterespionage and counterterrorist agency. It’s motto, inscribed on the organization seal, is “Defends and Shall Not Be Seen.” It is responsible for the security and protection of Israel’s prime minister and other governmental leaders as well as of defense industries, sensitive economic locations and Israeli installations abroad. The Shin Bet, which is sometimes compared to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), also handles overall security for Israel’s national airline, El Al.

Nixon stopped the draft. That is fairly anti-war at that time.

"The modem era of recruiting originated with Richard M. Nixon's 1968 political campaign promise to end the draft "

" During the 1968 presidential election, Richard Nixon campaigned on a promise to end the draft.[55] He had first become interested in the idea of an all-volunteer army during his time out of office, based upon a paper by Martin Anderson of Columbia University.[56]Nixon also saw ending the draft as an effective way to undermine the anti-Vietnam war movement, since he believed affluent youths would stop protesting the war once their own probability of having to fight in it was gone.[57] There was opposition to the all-volunteer notion from both the Department of Defense and Congress, so Nixon took no immediate action towards ending the draft early in his presidency.[56] "

It is fairly odious to say that the Kennedys were anything but war mongers at the least.
