Mitt Romney Will Be President. Its Decided! (Page 42)

Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina: I really think both lori100's and southern77's points are lame and besides the point when an election is so close at hand.

It's easy to put words in the mouth of a candidate and claim he said this and promised that. It'ss a bit harder to link credible sources for those claims.

It's also a false issue to come with that kind of report on the link between Mitt's investments and the voting machines. Independently from an ability to find the sources to this news.
The issue is that that kind of problem CAN'T wait for electoral campaigns to be up and running to be addressed. Citizens should be watchful ALL THE TIME.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/keith-thomson/could-romney-linked-elect_b_2025490.html

You can read in this article about that problem with the machines in Ohio that, for instance, in Holland, Germany and Ireland, those machines have been banned and in some cases destroyed and their use deemed unconstitutional. We don't use them here in Portugal either. Only private organizations (like football clubs or the parties themselves, for internal elections) can use them. Because they're not reliable. But how different would the issue be if Romney was an investor in the company that produced those machines and Ron Paul was the GOP candidate?

The debate about elections should, as far as possible, stick to verifiable facts and our opinion and view over the candidate's ideas and program for the next term. It's a lot more genuine to derive an opinion from what they say themselves then from what others say about them. Through this process, I stick to my opinion that Obama will be a much better president then Mitt would ever be. And that his policies are better for the majority of the americans, especialy mid (upper and lower) class and poor people. I am though not in denial about the fact that he lies about some things ( a lot less then Romney, though) and that many of his measures WILL not address the debt, which will tend to grow. I just assume that whoever believes that that wouldn't be the case if Romney was in office is grossely missled.

Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina: I'm happy that that makes you glad, southern. In the meanwhile I can tell you that I chat on a regular basis with at least 7 people who are usualy voters for republicans and 5 of them voted for Mc Cain in the last elections and so far, 6 of them are going to vote for Obama because I made them see my point of view and they aknowledged they will be far better off with him in office and that they shouldn't be forced to always vote for the same party "just because".

3 of them are in deep finantial trouble and of the other 4 the one that is not voting for Obama is not voting for Mitt Romney either because he was a supporter of Ron Paul and he thinks it's a disgrace what the republicans did to him in the primaries.

I do not cast my vote in the USA, but I do cast some influence over the outcome there.
It's called "Golbalization".
Get used to it.

davidk14: To Deus Ex Machina:

Your post is PURE....

The polls are showing Romney is being blown (no pun intended) away, devastating polling results due to the Obama because of this Benghazi debacle of throwing those brave SEALS to the enemy only because of his re-election. Turns out, new information....one of the SEALS had 'painted a target' for a drone or C130 to use a guide a bomb to destroy an enemy position near the Embassy or CIA safe house and the order came from the White House not to fire. The SEAL was killed lighting up the target for no good reason.

And for you to pat yourself on the back about friends of yours switching to Obama is BS, Obama is cooked and there is only one thing left for him to do....resign. To be caught trading our military for his re-election. This is why the US intelligence community (CIA) produced hundreds of e-mails, videos and other documents to the FBI for possible future prosecution. At this time homeland Security has placed those documents at 'TOP SECRET'. JAnet Nopalitano will only be able to keep those materials away only while Obama and Holder are in power.

Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina: This is the day you will be proved wrong. But it won't matter. The obvious limitations on the way your feeble minds work will always prevent you from seeing things as they are, and force you to see things as you once chose to. I only wonder if you will pursue your delusional ideas further, and "pray" congress and senate become a road block for the policies of the elected president (thus proving Romney's stated need for bipartisanship work was just a part of his scam) or if you will submerge again into silence for another period while you let more hatred and fear distyle inside you untill it's time to share it with others.
Good riddance.
P..S. you KNOW who this is for

PigCatcher: The sad part? That Obama winning will also be a help for a creep like Southern. A person who most definitely doesn't deserve any benefits that he will most definitely derive from another 4 years of the Obama presidency. Sad but true.

Oh well.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Obamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
