duncan124: No they don,t have fingerprints or anything else on them. Even the police are n,t allowed to hold fingerprints unless you have commited a crime.

duncan124: No they don't look for fingerprints at the scene of the crime even. It takes too long they say and is not helpful they say.

salisburycin: Well Colonel did you hear the national alert test today? I had the tv on and didn't hear a thing. (It was suppose to happen at 2 pm). Soooo I flipped the news on later and they said that it didn't work in some places. I guess I better go invest in some more lead sighhhhhh

ColonelKusanagi: no i didn't! i saw a bunch of warning adds over the last few days including one 10 minutes before. i was on comedy central and nothing at all came up. it annoys me at night all the time but clearly it did in fact need testing. i still don't think it's as effective as it once was because less and less people get their news from the tv, but it is a necessity for those that do.

salisburycin: Well this was the first test nationally, what you saw in the past were local signals. Here's what read in my local area news:

salisburycin: I don't like the vibe of it all. We have check points 100 miles from all of our countries boarders, Duncan said there are check points over there and now we have a emergency disaster alert test?
People get less of their news from tv because the media spins the news in whatever direction the gov't wants them to. Have to go to utube to watch videos as to whats going on in other countries and try and figure it out yourself.

vivv_00: i missed the national alert, too. i may have been away from the radio. if we were going to get hit with the giant meteor that passed close by, not many would have known about it.

as far as the banks, the economy, etc.,,,i won`t be buying anything i can`t pay cash for ,,,,for,,,well, hell, prolly the rest of my life. my dad remembers the great depression,,that man has, and always will pay for everything that he owns with cash. i`m sorry that i didn`t follow his example.

salisburycin: lol maybe thats why alot of the alerts didn't work, the meteor...i didn't think of that. The economy...I'm afraid that we haven't seen the worst of it yet. I hope we have. I have a feeling that inflation like we haven't seen in a long time is coming. Too much cash is being printed. How else is this country paying its loans? But this society is going cashless and you are encouraged to use an electronic method, although I know of many businesses that prefer cash! Go figure...

Irishinthewind: hahahaha it honestly does, if you go youll see what im talking about, i would never spend 300k on a house here unless i was rich, im sure in my lifetime i would spend that on rent anyway but if you take a loan out youll buy your house probably twice over so i dont know some people can do it, they have that quaility not me ill get the better deal in the better place.
