(Page 7) shadowline: Hmm, I'm not sure I even followed all of that, but, I will say this: as far as countries for peoples are concerned, as far as a country being the place of a people in this world is concerned, that is what the Palestinians, ALL OF THEM, have always wanted. They want a country for themselves as a people - their place in the world. I don't think they are crazy to want that, and I don't think they are racists. I do think the ship has probably sailed, because they made the disastrous mistake of throwing that country away when it was made available to them. But that they should deny the Jews' right to have such a country while claiming that right themselves, is merely despicable. And Israel IS a secular country. It is the country of a people, most of whom are of the same religion.
