Colon,

Steve Kangas, the author you posted who committed suicide a few years back was an ultra-liberal and may definitely be a left wing socialist.

This guy actually supported the notion from The Association for Responsible Dissent which estimated that by 1987, 6 million people had died as a result of CIA covert operations.

Pretty big assertion without any hard evidence.

Regarding abortion, Kangas actually had the balls to say:

"Murder” is defined as "illegal killing with malice aforethought." Abortion fails this definition for two reasons. First, abortion is not illegal, and second, there is no evidence to suggest that expecting mothers feel malice towards their own flesh and blood. If A has the potential to become B, it follows that A is not B. Likewise; a potential person is not an actual person. The reason why a zygote at conception is a potential rather than an actual person is because it has none of the organs, limbs or other traits recognized of a person. It is simply a genetic blueprint, and aborting it is not the same as killing an actual person.

David responds: That’s nuts! An adult was once a child…a child was once a “potential person”. Without being a “potential person” the child will not exist nor eventually will the child become an adult.

He also, in his own words, did not believe in life, liberty or inalienable rights. For an atheist, he sure used the bible to support or deny his claims in many of his writings.

He said, quote:

“Liberals believe that rights are social constructs, defended by force and open to change and improvement.

David responds: Notice he said “defended by force” which means what, that those in power are not obligated to change if they don’t like what the “people” have to say about the liberal social constructs?

He also believed:

Rights cannot be natural, like laws of nature, because nature enforces its laws absolutely, whereas rights are frequently broken. Rights cannot be inalienable, because governments frequently revoke rights. They cannot be God-given, because God originally blessed the rights of monarchy, genocide, polygamy, parental killing of disrespectful children, and other rights no one seriously defends today. Rights cannot be self-evident, because philosophers have been vigorously arguing over them for thousands of years.

David responds: For a liberal atheist, he sure can twist anything he wants now can’t he.

He also said:

• That it is a myth that no one has a right to my property. (Another redistribution of wealth nut job.)

• He also said that it is a myth that the U.S. has a liberal media (Perhaps he didn’t watch ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN or the now defunct Air America)

He also said that it is a myth that tax cuts spur economic growth and that high tax rates are correlated with economic growth.

Well with that idea, let’s just tax the wealth 99% and be done with it since the ultra-left socialist agenda main point is the redistribution of wealth argument.

Regarding your post of this guy Steve Kangas who was a left wing, ultra left socialist and the stuff you posted is way out there without support or documentation to support his claims. Just look at the information I posted from “HIS” web-site.

Colon, you really need to get out and read more than what “they” want you to read and believe.

David responds: I was told once by a very smart guy that if you have 51% of the truth, you’re ahead of the curve. Has the CIA had done bad things? Most likely. However, I was questioning the single source of the post, not the post itself.

Paulo continues: I try to see ....and I saw lots of good arguments comming from you Mr Davi...but you need to open a bit ....What makes a Democracy healthy its the great amount of diferent points of view....

David responds: Free speech is the cornerstone of democracy, freedom and liberty. We have the right to agree to disagree.

Paulo finishes up with:

so you are right in some things but maybe wrong about some other.... to Democracy!!

David responds: If I were perfect, then I’d be right all of the time and there would be no need for democracy

Colon said: thanks for taking the time to respond guys.

David, weve been down this road before haven't we? yet again does the authors personal views change the facts being presented as abortion isn't the topic?

David responds: I believe that yes, personal views are important in the overall review of the author’s “makeup”.

Would you have taken the author of your post seriously if his personal views were that ethnic cleansing is appropriate in certain racial or religious circumstances? I would certainly hope not.

Colon said: i'm merely pointing out that most 'revolutions' are really coups instigated by intel agencies and made to look like organic uprisings…i bet the same accusations could be applied to any intel agency not just cia.

David responds: I will agree with what that thought. The question now is…is there any good reason, any reason for intel agencies to instigate and or support grassroot uprisings? Egypt? Iran? Hamas? N. Korea?
