dj: @David - your looking beyond the point the point is the Palestinians owned Palestine at one point the UN took it in their hands to decide that Palestine would no longer be known as Palestine and be known as Israel which wasn't a fast process but it did happen (basically theres more but I just summed it up) your a pretty smart person you can figure it out yourself.
David of course the natives aren't going to get there land back but they are given a decent amount of rights look at the crap that goes on back there it's terrible most Americans wouldn't even have nightmares about the living arrangements because it's so barbaric. I'm basically saying cut a deal give a decent amount of land and give them rights about going in and out of border lines benefits of some sort and call it a quits. The UN basically started the problem they need to fix it and not make any prejudice opinions about whose going to help them more basically they need to be fair, justified, and have tolerance to deal with such an important problem.

BenevolentPeckerwood: Assimilation IS a weapon of war. It's just as effective as bombs, but takes much longer. The Chinese have used it with great success over the centuries. Let an invader THINK they've got you where they want you, then intermarry with them until they no longer exist. When a determined aggressor knows they cannot beat you on the battlefield, they'll resort to guerilla and underhanded and long-term tactics. "Get behind the border, set up camp, then multiply over a few generations, then claim victory once you have them outnumbered." The choice to be made by the invaded country is whether to defend themselves only against bullets or against this kind of infiltration.

Sounds about right. Palestinians wants and demands, right of return as part of a peace treaty.

Isreal says if right of return is part of the deal, Israel will cease to exist exactly as Pecker stated, "Get behind the border, set up camp, then multiply over a few generations, then claim victory once you have them outnumbered. The choice to be made by the invaded country is whether to defend themselves only against bullets or against this kind of infiltration."

BenevolentPeckerwood: davidk14: The Arabs are committed to ending Israel's existence by any means, fair or foul. If it appears for even an instant that they've had a change of heart and are willing to 'embrace the peace process', you can be assured it's because they are re-arming and re-positioning for the next attack on a different front.

Israel is feeling the heat with the pictures of Egyptian rioters tearing down the walls of their embassy in Cairo. More significantly was the ticker tape announcement at the bottom of BBC TV screen today saying Turkey is going to "escort" aid ships to the Gaza Strip. The 6 million Israeli's must be (or at least should be) very concerned about the "Arab Spring".

On the issue of Balance Turkey is officially against the brutal "conflict" in Syria.

Turkey’s opposition criticised Erdogan’s comments on Friday. Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the main opposition Republican People’s Party said Turkey’s Red Crescent was already sending aid to Gaza without breaching the blockade and called on Erdogan to “justify” in Parliament threats to send warships to escort aid ships.

And yes, Israel has been concerned and no dought has been preparing. Today the Israeli embassy in Cairo was sacked and pillaged while Egypian security stood by. The Ambassador is back in Israel.

richard_d_lee: davidk14 writes: "The Ambassador is back in Israel."

I heard Turkey kicked out some diplomats a few days ago. The Ambassador may not be there by choice.

They did but the source I posted above also said that the ambassador left as the security wall was breached. The source above also said that 'rioters' had entered the embassy and sacked the offices throwing papers out the windows.

This got extremely serious when the host country allowed this to take place.

The peace treaty between Israel and Egypt is on a fine line now.

I also read somewhere that Israel has sent a large number of troups to the border between Israel and Sinai.

Also, a few days ago Iran started to send a complete naval armada to the Med.

The dots are there. I have a friend in Israel who is extremely concerned about these developments.
