When approached by a student who attacked Zionism, Martin Luther King responded: "When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You're talking anti-Semitism."

I'd say Americans are the most anti-American people in the world.

I'd say knitters hate knitting.

I'd say anything means anything I want it to mean because I say it.

See? I can do that too.

Colon said: I'd say Israel is the most anti-Semitic country…

David responds once again:

How can Israel be anti-Semitic when it is a Jewish State? Now you can be anti-Semitic which you probably are, others can be anti-Semitic, but it is impossible for the Jewish State of Israel to be anti-Semitic.

Colon said: …the act that israel was stolen from the palestinians and continues…

David responds:

Nothing was “stolen” from anybody. The UN created the Jewish State of Israel in 1948 and it wasn’t the “Palestinians” that attacked them in 1948, 1967 and 1973…It was Jordan, Syria and Egypt and the wars weren’t in the name of the “Palestinian Rights” now was it. And then peace accords were signed by Israel, land for peace, with Jordan and Egypt. Numerous times Israel has offered land for peace with the Palestinians but look what happened with Gaza.

Colon said: “…and continues to allow settlements in breach of international laws.”

David responds:

What laws? Name one law? You conveniently forget the West Bank was the property of Jordan and when the peace accord was signed with Jordan, Jordan relinquished authority over the West Bank…”to Israel”, not to the Palestinians. Ask yourself why Jordan would do that. The same thing with Egypt. The peace accord with Egypt, Israel returned the Sinai, but Egypt did not want Gaza and relinquished Gaza “to Israel”…not to the Palestinians. Ask yourself why they would do that. To this day, Egypt has a fence up to keep the Palestinians out of their country. Now ask yourself why Egypt would do that.

So Israel evacuates the Gaza in response to the Oslo accords and turns the Gaza over to the Palestinian Authority in 2005. A year later Hamas slaughters the PA authorities and starts attacking Israel. Yet you don’t mention that. The homes and housing being built that are in question in the West Bank can always be sold to the Palestinians during negotiations. Israel abandoned 21 settlements in Gaza before leaving. Yet you don’t bring that up do you. Of course not. Typical of anti-Semitic behavior which never condemns the Iranian and Syrian trained terrorists bent on the destruction of Israel.

Oh… and the so called Rabbi’s on the video, the same few that visited with Iran during the destroy Israel rallies in Iran? There are always the few such as those that support the Westboro Baptist Church. But then, you don’t condemn all Baptists do you? Of course not.

And if you think you are being cute in your last post,

Colon said: If the state didnt exist the hatred of jews in many circumstances would vanish...

David responds:

If the State of Israel does not exist, then another 6 million Jews would have been slaughtered as well as 10’s of millions of others in the Middle East. Then the hate would be gone?

Typical thought process of ignorant anti-Semitic, neo Nazi and Holocaust deniers.

stephinrazin: I consider the Westboro Baptist Church, Islamic terrorists, and Zionists of the same cloth. They use their religions as tools, and are in opposition to the teachings of the faiths.

Anti-Semitism is a tool used to label anyone who challenges the Zionist political policies of the state of Israel. It is the same as calling someone who does not support Obama a racist. During the Bush years it was that you were unpatriotic for opposing the Iraq conquest. Same junk. Indefensible actions force governments to use any method to deflect the truth.

David responds:

Do you even know what Zionism is? It is the belief in the Jewish State of Israel that has the right to exist exemplified by millions of Jews, from more than 100 countries, including dark-skinned Jews from Ethiopia, Yemen and India, who are Israeli citizens. Approximately 1,000,000 Muslim and Christian Arabs, Druze, Baha'is, Circassians and other ethnic groups also are represented in 20% of Israel's population.

Read a history book once in awhile and stop reading trash from anti-Semitic websites.

You may be 100% correct in the point of your rebuttal, but if that point is run through someone's throat on an insult or namecalling, it doesn't help your cause or you.
I'm aware that some people think the net and this BBS a lisence for uncivil behavior, but I don't believe it's an acceptable excuse to do it because others do.

Perhaps if you haven’t already done so, maybe you could read a history book on the topic and if you are visiting anti-Semitic websites, not saying you are, but if you are, perhaps you should consider not doing so.

stephinrazin: I am sorry I dared state an opinion. My point was that people of all kinds use religion as a political tool.

Yes, Zionists do believe Israel has a right to exist. Many Zionists also believe that those who were already living there lost the right to reside there because they are not of a particular heritage. The policies that result from this belief many would consider morally questionable. When that point is made Zionists often times attack critics with accusations of anti-semitism. That attack is the use of religion for a political purpose. Furthermore, it is using religion to mask policies that arguably counter values expressed in that very religion.

I do think the Westboro example is pertinent. Like Zionists they use their religion as a tool to pursue their own agenda. That being that gays should have no rights, and be considered criminals. This idea could be seen contrary to brotherly love, and many Christian values. They use their religion in a way that could be considered in opposition to the tenets of that very same religion.

Radical Islam follows the same pattern. Violence used under the excuse of Islam is actually counter to the values of Islam. They are using religion in a political way that could be seen as counter to the tenets of the faith.

That is my point. I have never knowingly been to anti-Semitic website. I have also read a book before. It is that type of name calling that is usually used when one is defending the indefensible.
