More victims in Mexican massacre found across border (Page 5)

JUSTINappropriateMan
JUSTINappropriateMan: That's a very typical statement though true for the drunken idiots pissing on the streets and asking for pot clubbing in TJ, If you don't look like and idiot and you speak spanish the most you are gonna get is searched and as long as you dont have guns or drugs you're fine. Pretty much the same as here. Yes there is bad cops but its mostly hard working citizens just trying to provide for their families. People act like its a country of pirates and swashbuckling raiders. Its mostly normal people just like you or I.

Justin says:
"To stuck in the Sixties Do I need to mention Pablo Escobar and his trafficking through Mexico giving rise to Cartels like the Arellano Felix organization. etc. etc."

So? They're all bad people. So?

If I were to complain about ... oh, let's be topical ... Bashar al-Assad in Syria, would you say, "Hey, what about Saddam Hussein? He was a really bad guy too ..." So what?

Justin says:
"I get what you are saying about the U.S. Drug Companies but I think you understand where I was going with that."

No, apparently you didn't. Because I didn't say ANYTHING about US drug companies. At all. You're confused.

But I did see where you were going with that. You were confusing the issue of this thread by interjecting irrelevant information.

Justin says:
"And its no different than me telling you 'Don't go to Los Angeles, There are violent Gangs there.' " etc. etc.

Gack!!!!!!!!!!

When did the an LA gang dump headless bodies by the dozen on the side of the road?

You seem to be focusing on something very different than what this thread is about. You seem to be complaining that the the news accounts of cartel violence give Americans the impression that this violence is being directed towards tourists. That's not so. It's being directed to Mexican citizens, and that's what the news accounts are saying, as far as I can see.

Justin says:
"Exaggeration sells sorry to say."

(falls down laughing)

Man, talk about the pot calling kettle black ...

JUSTINappropriateMan: Sixties you are such an instigator. The mentioning of Pablo Escobar was in response to your statement about traveling Mexico in the 70s and 80s. It was very on topic and factually countering your statement. You seem to not handle getting old and forgetting things major news events very well as seen in your tone change.
When I said I get what you're saying about the drug companies I was agreeing with you that it was off topic and dropping the point from the argument. I'm sorry I didn't know you had a personal point to establish that required you to turn into a total dick to slap it on the table.
I very much am not saying its directed at American tourists. You would be assuming for the sake of argument to hold onto that thought. I very much am saying that the media is spreading panic and fear as always. I'm watching my favorite place in the world die not because of cartel violence but because of the media glamorizing the violence and killing the economy to a state of panic. So much so, Ive never seen the Mexican people treat white people with so much respect, due to the Mexican people recognizing the lifestyle that tourism supplies them with. That would be my true opinion on the matter, and why it would seem as if I'm trying to downplay the Cartel violence and blame the media that is hurting more lives than the cartels are. I didn't mention those things because those are truly my eye witness accounts and not a traceable news story which seems to be the only thing you care to take into account.

Last I'm sorry if I treat innocent children being slaughtered in the streets of LA as equally disturbing, and no more wrong than headless bodies being found in a van and their heads being displayed for the mayor. I don't see it this way but If anything they were Cartel members and deserved the death they chose with the life they led. Its far less disturbing when broken down into deep thought, than a kid riding his bike down the street with a whole life of choices and opportunity ahead of him being mowed down in a drive by. There is no difference from the Compton Crips to the Mexican Cartels they are after the same things and using violence to achieve it by any means.

"Sixties you are such an instigator."

Just reacting to the things I read. Public Forum, you know. If you have a problem with it, just click that thingy that says "Report."

JUSTIN says:
"The mentioning of Pablo Escobar was in response to your statement about traveling Mexico in the 70s and 80s. It was very on topic and factually countering your statement."

How does that "counter my statement"?

JUSTIN says:
"You seem to not handle getting old"

You seem to not handle criticism well, and react with irrelevant personal attacks.

JUSTIN says:
"...and forgetting things major news events very well as seen in your tone change.

Who could forget Pablo Escobar? He was a monster. He did a real job on Colombia, didn't he. Remember all those car bombs? Assassinations? etc. etc.

JUSTIN says:
"When I said I get what you're saying about the drug companies I was agreeing with you that it was off topic and dropping the point from the argument (get over yourself if you want to get technical."

Well, then I was justified in pointing out that it had nothing to do with the topic, wasn't I?

JUSTIN says:
"you did mention the the words drug companies re read your point)"

Really? Besides saying this ...

"I didn't say ANYTHING about US drug companies"

... I never said anything about drug companies. Prove me wrong. Copy/paste my comment where I had anything to say about drug companies.

JUSTIN says:
"I'm sorry I didn't know you had a personal point to establish that required you to turn into a total dick to slap it on the table."

Again, I just read, and react. And again, pot calls kettle black. Who's issuing epithets, you, or me?

JUSTIN says:
"I very much am not saying its directed at American tourists. You would be assuming for the sake of argument to hold onto that thought."

I read these comments of yours:
"I've lived in San Diego near Tijuana my whole life. I've been an avid traveler of Baja since I was young ... When was the last time "YOU" actually have been to Mexico ... Because I never have seen Mexican cities catering to tourism more than they are now ..."

Silly me to think you might have been talking about tourism ...

JUSTIN says:
"There is no difference from the Compton Crips to the Mexican Cartels they are after the same things and using violence to achieve it by any means."

Gack !!!!!!

Um ... how about the SCALE of the bad things they do?

Not to defend the Crips or any other gang, but the comparison is absurd.

JUSTINappropriateMan: Fine the crips havent done that you say is the Mafia good enough how about the hells angels look up the violent crimes Its all the same Sixties. You honestly have the biggest case of pride Ive ever seen. I'm not religious by any means but there is a reason pride is regarded as such horrible sin. Because It consumes your sense of judgement. I think you've been at these forums to long 60's. Not everyone is out to fight you. You've lost your class from the first posts Ive read of yours when I started on wire and actually respected your thoughts. Even when I disagreed with them. It seems all you care about is posting another boasting picture series under your albums. Sad day when social networking has consumed even the baby boomer generation into common highschool trolls. I expected more from you I guess. You wonder why everyone gets personal when they attack you its because you make it personal with your self seeking rebuttals. You've become so consumed with making your points king of the hill you cant even tell when someone is agreeing with you and giving you credit. Like I said its really showing your loss of class and discredits even the most profound statements you can make. I'm done you can have you're forum back but remember pride was the fall of rome.
