Canadian Government Pays Organization To Troll Political Chat Forums (Page 2) davidk14: Flashie, Watched both vid’s. I believe you being a progressive think these folks are your hero’s. Unfortunately, some of what they say might be true, but a lot of it is not. You really need to use or provide better resource materials to make your points. flashie: george orwell or aldous huxley is a start. these comedians are just commenting on it, they appeal to a wider audience seen? Outbackjack: Dont worry people. Fog of Oil needs to earn that retainer somehow from his corporate stooges. He reminds me of a hippy who tells you to relax and pretend everything is all right................ FogofWar: "Ummmm who is your comment addressed to? No one thinks their all sooo important that the government is following them around and stuff" You just said they are spying on us in chatrooms, following what we post on here....so you do think the government is following you around and "stuff". "As for me mentioning the watch, it was more of an analogy as in They can do lots of things we dont know about ok." Yes, they sure can, so many, that they have no time to be caring about what some random joe blow says about them on the internet. "Ease up on your comments dude you dont have to come off so aggressive." I'm not being aggressive, I just cannot believe anyone would be so stupid as to think the government has nothing better to do with their time than waste millions of dollars finding out what a person whose opinion means nothing thinks of them. "Its the topic of conversation in this thread, so we are talking about it. I personally was commenting more about the political views of people and if they wanted to know more about the publics opinion on things, then it would be a good place to read what people are really thinking when they think people are not watching!" And they do that; by watching the news, and paying attention to public opinion based on those who take the time to write into them. I have personally written several letters to the Prime Minister himself. Ask yourself this; who is more likely to get involved in politics, those who take the time to watch the news, pay attention to what is going on, and voice an opinion in a mature manner directly to them; or what someone who, for all they know, still lives in mommy's basement; playing video games; basing an opinion about war on what they see in Call of Duty???? "'More recently the New York Times published an exposé on how privately hired operatives were appearing on major US news networks promoting the interests and operations of the Pentagon and generating favorable news coverage of the so-called war on terror while posing as independent military analysts.' ^see" You think this only happens with "favourable" coverage to the war-on-terror??? Half those videos you watch on youtube about US "soldiers" talking about their time in Iraq have never been in the military, let alone Iraq. Don't be so foolish as to think the Taliban does not have computers and internet access. They post videos on youtube all the time; showing US soldiers "beating" children. I saw one video on youtube of US or British (The person who posted the video didn't know for sure which apparently), beating children in the streets....to you, it looks real; but to me, having dealt with both nation's troops; I can clearly see that they are not wearing US or British issued uniforms or gear. The video is blatantly fake; but only those who have experience can tell this. There is much of what you see on "news" stories that you yourself comment on Flashie that are based on the same false information. lois_lane: It was a story in the news. I said I dont doubt if they do things like this. I never said they do it for sure or not. I dont really give a f@^* either way I was just commenting on something. Why take it sooo seriously.
FogofWar: I watched your videos Flashie. The first one is a comedian doing a comedy sketch about shooting Billy Ray Cirus....and this has to do with???? The second one is some moron going on a big rant and pissing off some fan because he spends 10 minutes yelling at them about shit he knows nothing about....seriously Flashie....is he really an expert on foriegn affairs and military conduct? If he is, surely he wouldn't be yelling at a drunk crowd at a comedy show.... ...I love his comment about rather having an atheist in than a "member of the Christian Coalition"....isn't that prejudice????? "fog o war 19mins in" do explain. Wampum6: It's the same here, if not even more true than many other places, that you don't want to believe anything unless you have irrefutable proof, and then that may be arguable! xanderiley: Yeah, if I believe something, I want it to be factual, documented -- have proof. It's a silly quirk of character, but one I hope to live with. Otherwise I might end up randomly gibbering about theoretical conspiracies and possible cover-ups and end up looking quite out of touch with reality. There is already too much real-life ugliness in the world. | Politics Chat Room 33 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
