~~~GUN CONTROL~ (Page 3)
zeffur: Gun control is a misnomer.
We should be discussing "bad human control'--which is the ways & means by which society agrees to prevent bad people (sociopaths, criminals, & proven irresponsible gun owners) from possessing any kind of weapon or ammo.
Truths about guns:
1. Guns don't kill people. Bad people sometimes use guns to kill people. A gun is a thing without intent of any kind--it has no mind to kill anyone--intentionally or accidentally. And, irresponsible/untrained people sometimes kill themselves or others accidentally.
2. Open gun carry states have the lowest legal gun owner crimes than areas in which guns are banned (think Chicago) because criminals don't care about gun control laws & guns serve as a powerful deterrent against bad people.
3. Legitimate gun purposes include:
A. self defense against bad people/govts. Police almost never arrive in time to protect good people from bad people--they show up to investigate & to write reports.
Historically, the militaries of corrupt govts often oppress & kill their citizens. Such govts will not do what is right & just without a credible deterrent. Good people must retain this right in order to over-throw bad govts if the need arises.
Fog Swept Glade: The constitution doesn‘t exist. It is very possible. The legal process to explain it or circumvent it is far more beneficial to the uppercrust element.
Fog Swept Glade: No, sir. There is no working part of the constitution.The uppercrust are not great in number, and would seem to be thinking for my interests without my consent.
zeffur: Amendments once ratified are working parts of the US Constitution. The 2nd amendment has been ratified.
re: "The uppercrust are not great in number, and would seem to be thinking for my interests without my consent."
That ^^ is what happens when enough citizens are ignorant of the laws that get passed which restrict their rights. Once informed properly & motivated to repeal such laws, freedom almost always prevails over invalid laws that have been passed in the past.
As for states that don't have open carry laws--that's the choice/fault of their citizenry. They could change those laws as well, using the US Constitution as their basis & they'd change those laws if enough of them voted to removed the current illegal state restrictions.
Fog Swept Glade: Good sumaritans that are in the right place at the right time for benevolent reception are causing problems or following to cause harm, a charge that is not made per instance, ‘stalking‘. George Washington works like any utopian liar. The 2nd amendment never existed. Your courts don‘t either. Criminal justice, Guns, and the 1st amendment share much in common. None of them are being used constitutionally, but for defense of property and extending moral indignation and territory. I wish every citizen had a gun. That may take the edge off the managers of the world that think for everybody. I could think of many ideas to stabalize and enrich life that would not restrict liberty or lubricate the sick process to take it.
Fog Swept Glade: The United States doesn‘t exist either. I made it clear that alot of the early citizen‘s militia philosophy is a lie. I made it clear that probable cause is a joke. It was pointed out that guns are the sort of welfare that I support minus the localized government training and mobilization for work work against other citizens except for individual instances of defense that can‘t be caused or escalated by the defenders. Unfortunately, even Castle law came from a man that did not know sheister from shyola.
Fog Swept Glade: There is rarely a manifestation of that upopia, (America), the property, or just equilibrium as for the arms, is still relevant. The courts/4th, popular vote, electoral college, and 1st are simply failed experiments that are seldom used as prescribed. The managers were the uppercrust in my statement, which means I can make fun of rich people because you‘re the one calling for state‘s raughts. Open carry this or that. That‘s ok. Everybody was made to settle for less.
The giant midget: I am starting to believe that since the early 1990's the water must have been contaminated with ignorance and stupidity
Just saying eh
Fog Swept Glade: Is free council depending on a biased judges audit, the reason the uppercrust have so many rulings on life liberty and property?
Fog Swept Glade: I explained uppercrust and then included the money talk anyway. It happened at least twice.
Sandy1057: I guess you have to be an American to understand us. Upper crust
just means the richest people I suppose. But I think The United
States is still the best country Ever.
