Useless time spent in neglect
The body in the grave cannot
Call back the time in retrospect

The words you've said once you're dead
Forgiveness you failed to ask
His Kingdom you failed to seek back then
Now becomes an impossible task

The earthly world that brought you joy
You thought would never end
Is now long gone and you're alone
With unheard prayers to send

When all it had taken to be not forsaken
Was that one moment to be saved
Now it's too late, time for the date
Of hopelessness in the grave
