Why do some people like what others find ugly? What is art?

AretoNyx: I am curious how people can find written to picture communication of any sort good, bad, ugly, or feel indifference to such.
There is philosophy to what is art and art to what is philosophy, even if that is close to philosophy of philosophy.
Music, books, and anything considered art by lexicon of modern day definition...how is this even decided?

AretoNyx: Now some consider these sorts of things ugly evil secular to divert even thinking about as it is a sin to think thoughts of sorts in even looking on a topic with some. Though really of these playlists and questions to what is art and beautiful is it subjective, objective, or a way to blend both to what is considered such?

That point of view seems to me to fall more under the category of Religion than Philosophy.

AretoNyx: Art is not without politics, religion, philosophy, and/or opinions.
Reasons for trigger warning is for those that think thoughts are a sin and are very offended by any thoughts they do not like.

Yes, there are links between art and religion, poltics, etc.
But when people start talking about "sin", that to me falls within the realm of Religion.
