Likeitornot: great post cowboysLbug

I don’t feel death is our final judgment I think life is. Throughout life we are judged on everything from our attitude to the clothes on our back . Life is an experience and I don’t necessarily believe any experience is bad. Tho there are many obstacles and many rewards, life is an attitude and a belief. You sound awoken and filled with life despite few obstacles in your way… I hope you get your rewards along the way…xxx000

CowboysLbug: Life doesn't judge us, we judge ourselves. No matter the lesson life gives you, as long as your happy with your character (moral and ethicaly) That's all that matters. It is our mistake to fear others judgements including lifes obstacles as a measure of who we are, that's the natural human concept we need to refrain from.... Happy to of contributed to this debate So many people are lonely in the end we are the same and need to reach out daily to touch someone.

Likeitornot: true many people are lonely, venerable and that song by platters “the great pretender “ captures it perfectly.

Oh yes, I'm the great pretender
Pretending I'm doing well
My need is such
I pretend too much
I'm lonely but no one can tell

Oh yes, I'm the great pretender
Adrift in a world of my own
I play the game but to my real shame
You've left me to dream all alone

Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my heart can't conceal

Farwuq
Farwuq: I never quite understood why religious/spiritual people, (in general) are afraid to die, when most of the aforementioned people's religions, teach a continuance of life, of some sort (and usually a better existence). If that is the case, why suffer with the current life problems here; (and, let's face it,most people, if asked, will tell you they are not THAT happy in one way or another, with this current state of life) why not just "kill" yourself, and enter a better "version"? lol.

Mew_: My guess it's a control thing, by controlling the masses through fear. Most people need to fear so they don't go around creating havoc without remorse or without consequence. Like the christian belief, "you do bad things you'll go to hell"..............

Farwuq: I think I hear what you're saying ; but if people need fear to "keep them in line" thenwhat does that say about their nature ? If you need the threat of "hellfire, and eternal damnation" to keep you from killing someone in cold blood, or raping a woman, or molesting a kid, then you probably have some huge mental problems, that only INTENSE psycho-therapy MIGHT help; you don't need threats.....

Mew_: but reality that is what religion is about. Control through fear. It still goes on..we're deep in it for the past 2000years. It would take us probably 2000 more to rid this from our Psyche because we're in soo deep.
The question I have that often comes up is why is it costly to die? Being born is expansive enough, now death has become some kind of Franchised crematorium!!!!!

Air_: There is no such thing as 'death' only 'decay'. Your body is constantly dying...cells are being shed, and you can literally have flesh rotting off your bones. People are afraid of the totality of death, and the cessation of all biological function which is a natural process. But who is to say that the electrodes in your brain don't continue? Just because we haven't found it yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Air_: Even when you do have money, some people still think its a game. *sheesh*. Business people have no respect for themselves or the people they do business with. They are just in it for the competition and gain. And when I say gain I don't mean 'wealth', I mean power, fame and prestige. ughh.
