Riddler_This: I give lectures and help survey college students and their perspective on this scenario and many that are similar. I've found that the anti-religion (sometimes anti-God) folks are less reliable to show evidence, compared to their religious counterparts who are more likely than anyone to show/claim they have evidence. I'm not supporting either side, simply stating my observations. It is more common for the religiously educated to have a better understanding of not just their own belief, but sometimes having a more comprehensive understanding of their antagonists (sometimes, not always) belief in evolution or there being no god. Many religious folks who believe in God are fanatical beyond comprehension, just as many evolutionists are fanatical with their belief. Riddler_This: I'd second that Pokerman. There is no definitive way to prove God exists. That is simply not how He can or ever was meant to be understood. Evolution can be is akin to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. We see natural selection, mutation, and speciation, all of which are evolutionary processes, but we fail to see any change on any large level. And we likely never will, it is un-testable, and un-provable, like string theory. XFixYourBrainX: I think the biggest thing people forget is Evolution is only a theory, its not been proven to be true, but evo's say that its real, if its real then why is it still a theory ta-da. I've come to think that its a style of rebellion. They assume that by believing in evolution they are on the same side as the intellectuals, and idk, maybe it fosters up some sort of moral rocket, but it in fact simply isn't true. Their main fault is simply not understanding, or being able to interpret data. On the other hand, creationists have a misunderstanding of their own belief, and simply on how to argue on their own grounds. Many of them attempt to counter science (or assumed science) with Biblical verses, which is not possible. One of is a book of faith, the other science.
