Death Penlty (Page 2)

BabiiMandy
BabiiMandy: I think if somebody killed someone close to me, that the death penilty is too good for them. I think they should be brutaly tortured very slowly. Then killed. Just one girls opinion. Same for pedofiles and rapists and anybody who abuses children or adults or animals in anyway.

Brokenarrow: Haha I have to say I agree with the person above me if it was under extreme circumstances that the person did something and it was FACT!!! I think the real funny thing is, a lot of people have went weak! Everyone didn't have problems years and years ago when this was happening but, now its such a bag thing. So sad! How about the B**bing of the twin towers ect. What if those people that did it didn't die and we caught them? Would you want them to go to prison and live it up in there for the rest of their life or take them out back and torture them and watch them suffer for what they did? Honestly, I say the second choice!!

BeautifulRejection: Alright well for those of you who don't believe in the death penalty I will let you be the ones to tell the millions of Jews on your finale judgement day that Hitler didn't deserve to die for what he did, or that Julio Argentino Roca had the right to kill all of those indigenous people just because they were different. What about all the prosecutions for the Rwandan Genocide, the Srebrenica Genocide. What about all the war that goes on just among nations... All of these were examples of vendettas placed out by "ONE" person because they were different. Is what they did right. Why should people get away with such a thing. What if that one jew, that one Sioux that one indigenous person was you. Im sure you would will others the ability to seek revenge, I'm sure you wouldn't want your killer to walk amongst the free. (Yes I mean in prison 3 meals a day, warm clothes, showers, recreation/play time, school and the ability to breath.)

if you took the life of another person in revenge then yes that would make you guilty of the same crime.

my personal answer to the original question is simply no i do not believe in the death penalty.

Talent_M: I havn't meant the revenge, sometimes the revenge exceeds the killer, the criminal and his family as example, this is absolutely not accepted, but when someone kills another one in bad intention not by mistake, this man we should take the right from him,Blonde we have in death penalty a wisdom, if I didn't take my right from the criminal, someday he will kill another one as long as he is intending the murder and to be an example to whom would purpose so, by the way if you are looking for human rights, putting the criminal in the jail forever would be worse than if you killed him and for sure here we can't see the fair in opposite.

Brokenarrow: Prison for the rest of their life isn't a punishment for a crime!! It is a getaway from the normal. They get to live better in prison than LOTS of people get to live outside of it!! And we all have to pay for them to do it. Its sad!! All that does it put the person away from society so we no longer think about them. I say if the whole prison aspect is so appealing to everyone then take that person and drop them in the middle of a BIG jungle on an island that is far away from everyone else. And if they can manage to survive there than they can live! Other than that I say isn't the choice to make someone pay for murdering other people in cold blood!!!

BeautifulRejection: Honestly I find it funny that some of you don't feel it's right to rid the world of those that rid the world of innocent people. I mean have you not registered the idea that it could be your child, your wife, your mother an father. Would you not want them dead.

I don't know maybe I'm wrong. Call me a mass murderer but I feel they all should be taken out back and shot.

Brokenarrow: Well the innocent people that are getting murdered have the (RIGHT) to live but, I don't see that one working for them!!! Some rights when it comes to things like this are about as good as toilet paper. Good to have, good to use, even great for stuffing areas but, what happens when it gets S**T on?? It gets flushed!!

blonde goddess: i have registered the fact it could be someone i love. i still don't believe in the death penalty. i think prisons are too soft but believe there has to be another way.
if you someone is put to death how is this a punishment? they will no longer feel pain, regret, be remorseful etc. death as a punishment would only bring fear to those that fear an afterlife. if that doesn't exist and there is no hell then they are getting off lightly.

then there is always the chance that the person is innocent. its happened before and will no doubt happen again.
