And I say who cares about rights get what makes you feel happy Mint Chip: i cant, its a 2 person ordeal, and i have no right to want something from someone else if they dont want it as well.  Aura: You have the right to want anything you want. You just do not have the right to take it. How do you stop yourself from wanting? I doubt you can. And you know, the more you tell yourself not to think about something, the more it will pop up in your mind. So I'd say accept that you want something, allow yourself to mourn the fact you aren't going to get it and then try and distract yourself as much as possible with things that are engaging (and Facebook stalking is not a good engaging activity) Learn to play an instrument, read, take up a new sport...Anything to keep the mind busy. |
