tularcitas: I'm a first time mom (12 weeks), boy, and have been looking at the baby books we were given for the shower. A few days ago, I started reading an ABC book to him. He responds to the colors and shapes, I'm pretty sure. My Mom was jokingly saying "I bet you are going to be a Tiger Mom" but I think three months is a good time to just gently introduce words, letters, shapes and for him to hear the rhythm of speech. Any thoughts?

Cenababy: Talk to them all the time. Yes they respond to shapes then color, it's amazing. Never to early to learn. Touch and love as well.
