Religion (Page 22) Zanjan: Shoes: "There's nothing wrong with not listening to those CLAIM to be a Prophet?" According to God there is - one of them will be a God-sent Prophet. Many have made that mistake in the past. "I'm not a believer in your god." No problem. I'm not a believer in multiple Gods. Blackshoes: Neither do I Zanjan. There is only one true God! Not everyone who claims to worship God' does. Those that worship Mohammad, Baha'i, and all of those that claim to be prophets, do so without knowledge of God. Like I stated before. It's unlikely that Mohammad was any sort of prophet. No more than L. Ron Hubbard was. (Edited by Blackshoes) Nicotina: Just when you think a religious person might be crazy, they prove it. "electronic version" Blackshoes: MJ There is only " One truth " Because people disagree doesn't change nor support your ignorance of the truth! Zanjan and I disagree about doctrines and a number of other things. You and others like to claim that somehow supports your ignorance of God's existence. Nothing is further from reality. Blackshoes: I'm stating a reasonable and logical observation. You on the other hand don't see beyond your ignorance of God's existence.. I have no problem allowing you to remain ignorant. After all, that's your problem (Edited by Blackshoes) Blackshoes: Whatever tickles your ears and makes you happy is your problem I do my best, to tell the truth,no matter where it leds Colossians 1:16-20 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Edited by Blackshoes) Nicotina: Did some one use a Bible quote to prove that the Bible is true? Imaginative... that's never been done before. Wow! Zanjan: Actually, someone thinks the Bible is the only Book God ever delivered to mankind or ever will deliver. When you tell kids that, you deprive them of historical learning, threaten their curiosity, and stifle critical thinking skills. Exactly the same thing public schools do. Later on, the kids will discover that and trust will be lost, then replaced with resentment. As for public schools, kids should be taught the spiritual virtues - that's not religion; it borrows the gems of wisdom from all religion. Exercises are easily obtained by buying the prepared flashcards and discussing these virtues in health and fitness classes. If left to the parents, the kids wouldn't learn anything. (Edited by Zanjan) If the stars fell: its hilarious how christians think that quoting the bible to non believers is somehow convincing or qualifies as making a point. You may we well be reading from a mcdonalds menu for all the fuqs i give about what it claims... How about you start with why anyone of us should care. If the stars fell: and no, public schools should not be teaching your religion as though its valid or true, and id wager you wouldnt hold all religions to that same standard... because you are a hypocrite and a tool.... and a zombie. | Parenting Chat Room 23 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
