Zanjan: If the golden rule is not in your version of morality, EE you must be one rare duck.

I'm not at all like you, EE........every person is unique.

Empty_Everest: I have to educate myself in the teachings of the Hermetics, I heard of them, but not know really what is their core teaching.
What I can tell you Tatratsu is that I'm not the type of person is going to put one chick to be slap, I am both good and evil, and I don't hide my dark nature.

Tatrasu 2: folks... have we not discovered yet that Thoth is one of the sons of Ea or Enki the creator of humanity,,and all religion.stems from mans need to be a mediator between the (gods) and humanity,,all religion.stems from Egypt and then turned and denied its source?
sun and planet observation became expressed in other forms for the purpose of control,,
if you need to verify this start with the fact.that the book of Enoch was not included in Constantines collection as it contained the information that a mortal man could be taken into the.heavens,,summerian kings list((the kingship was lowered from heaven...so now does it not seem odd to seek differences when all are the same origin source?

40-94After the flood had swept over, and the kingship had descended from heaven, the kingship was in Kic.

Nicotina: For clarity, there exists an implied statement.
I thought I had implied that the statement was implied and thus an implied statement which is a type of statement although it seems that my implication did not manage to imply to one what most would have understood as implied.

Zanjan: Everest: " And you my dear are not so different to me after all. "

The difference is enough that you couldn't mimic me - that is, if you were to type on my keyboard under my name, everybody would know it wasn't me.

Of course, we're both human yet the diversity amongst humans is mind-blowing. One thing they all have in common is an ego....yet there's a world of difference between one who is unable to restrain theirs and one who's mastered theirs.

This is the main point of religion - to teach that discipline.

Zanjan: Tatrasu, religion existed long before Egypt did but records were lost to antiquity. NOT that any of it would be useful to us - how many of us need to return to Neolithic kindergarten?

Zanjan: Want feedback? Does that mean you're not sure if you made a sarcastic joke or not?

It's good that you laugh easily, at almost anything. Keeps your endorphins flowing.

Zanjan: I once knew a guy with cancer who passed the time in hospital by watching old Dick Van Dyke episodes, brought to him by friends. He laughed so often, his cancer was cured. True story.

Zanjan: Either way, I think the old maxim still stands that "moderation is key".

So, you have atheism to the far left and asceticism to the far right; both are extremes - that's the ground for fanaticism. While they offer contrast, they were never meant to reign.

Zanjan: Indeed. Any doctor will tell you that most people in hospital have put themselves there by their own lifestyle. If only they'd have followed their physician's instructions, sickness and accident wouldn't be such a strain on the medical system.

The same is true for spiritual sickness. If only people had listened to God, via His Divine Revelators, the Divine Physicians, they would have been fit to properly steward the planet into the future.

Zanjan: Most people would apply moderation of they knew how to gauge it. This is why we need Divine Physicians - to show us where the perimeters really are.

Nicotina
Nicotina: It is cruel to say that people brought a deadly illness upon themselves, especially when you do not know anything about that person or their medical background. If you are going to state something as medical fact, please be so kind as to provide a reference.
As for the people I have known who had terminal cancer, they had it due to genetics. I'm looking into genetic testing for myself. Yes, some people died in part due to their lifestyle but to say they are a strain on the medical system is reprehensible.
Truly disgusting that a person who claims that their faith require that they not pass judgement and help their fellow human beings so rarely does so.
