People giving advice on kids

AretoNyx
AretoNyx: When people give advice about kids, but do not have children does anyone think that good advice can be given?

Also giving medical advice on the internet about such things as health instead of from a doctor is not some thing I need.

Un Hombre: unless they are a medical professional with no children.... lol

I do listen to questions they may have as to why I approach my parenting a certain way, nothing wrong with that.

SCSilk: Two things:

- Were you immediately given all knowledge about anything regarding children the minute you gave birth? And clueless the moment before?

- Some answers are based on common sense and human nature.

AretoNyx: Sadly common sense is not always so common looking at some conspiracy sites. Though do you think every person on this planet is completely clueless about child birth before having kids? Do you think that only having random advice by strangers online is the only way to get info?

SCSilk: No. I don’t think everyone is clueless. That’s my point.

AretoNyx: I wasn't just only mentioning one type of medical advice. Doctors you personally are getting checked with can help more because they know you better, and you know yourself than some random person online that has not even a clue in any tests.

The giant midget: I truly love those folks that don't have children of their own that write books , contribute there experience in magazines and do the TV talk shows
I wonder if they know the difference between a baby and a toddler

I think I have some knowledge about kids I do have 30 years of experience as a single dad of 3 of them but yeh I surely don't know everything
If you need to know something about kids just ask me

Now if you really want about house construction ,,, ask away

AretoNyx: Some like Doctor Wakefield are still getting praises even though he was disbanded as a doctor. Some may know things , but not understand or care to understand reality.
One can have experience but some things are individual based needs.

AretoNyx: I have seen some engineers building projects where failure happened like placing a bridge backwards and upside down. Show called Engineering Disasters, and another called Engineering Catastrophes. I have actually seen both.
Some can actually share on any sort of media facts, but true there is that lack of media literacy to figure out what is true based in evidential facts.

I don't know a single person including myself that knows everything.
Though it still would be interesting to hear what you know by experience.

AretoNyx: I have heard of houses that exist upside down. There are actually many houses still standing that exist this way in the US. Though besides this I agree know it all's can be annoying that claim they know some truth or secret others do not with some kind of superiority complex likeness.

Angry Beaver: I have 3 children, I dont give "advice" per se, but just impart what I have found works or doesn't after raising 3 girls to adulthood with kids of their own now
