40 years old and no children. Regrets? Metaphorguy: If you made it to 40, or will make it to 40, will you regret having no children, have children and regret it, have children and be happy, or have no children and be happy? At 40 everyone has had at one time had at least 1 parent and probably some brothers and sisters. Captain Canada: ![]() Don't know what you're saying but I am over 50 and wouldn't mind have become a father again You ever asked your mommy if she didn't regret not shwolling you Captain Canada: Thanks on the 23 year old thing Picture over 15 years old makeup helps My oldest daughter older than you by 5 years Metaphorguy: I'm hoping that these robot servants will come out soon, at least before I become a senior citizen, and they will eventually. I've seen demos of them. I won't need to have to have children to take care of me when I'm older. I can just have robots like most people in Japan will have in the next decade or so. linamasiashvily: I think you have done it but in several years you will regret as you will stay alone and there is no one who brings you water or food and at last dont you want to see a person identical of you? SplendorofYah: There is still time !Contact anyone who is having difficulty conceiving and I will guide you with hidden miracles of psalms . kevkam221: having children is the best thing in my life ' what makes it better is having grandchildren ' people that dont have any of these have nothing to say because they simply dont know what it's like ' i would never change my life FunkyBiscuits82: I am pushing 40. I have no children and I do regret not trying to find someone in my younger days. It would be nice to have a kid or three, but I don't think that is something I will get to do. While my happiness does not rely solely on being a mother, it's still something I will always consider a missed opportunity. There will always be a little bit of sadness when I think of having a family of my own. kevkam221: i just looked at your profile 'funkybiscuit and you're not too old to have kids ' only problem being you'll get older as they get older and if you ever have grandkid's is [ well i don't want to go there FunkyBiscuits82: Kev, the topic at hand is about regret in regards to having or not having a family. It's not about age. However, I agree with what you said. It is always best to have children around 18-25, for obvious reasons. Ages 25-30 are also still healthy ages to get preggers. After 30 is not ideal, but can work out, it just has a lot more disadvantages than the -30 age group. After 40 is risky and the window of opportunity for healthy pregnancy and birthing will be closing not long after 40. That's why I commented that I regret not having a baby when I was younger. If I get the chance to have a baby before or after 40, I will take that chance though. lol. Plumpcherry: Actually irs a risk having kids at any agar today. This world is crazy. But seriously have as many of them as you want. It’s a beautiful part of the cycle of life you have to experience if you haven’t already. FunkyBiscuits82: Plump, yes, you never know what will happen. I agree, it is beautiful part of life no matter what. EpicStarDust: Love all the posts from the happy parents... myself? I am over 40 and no kids - no regrets. Have a few step kids in the family, but that is not like having a child of your own. | Parenting Chat Room 37 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
