should women breast feed in public or go some where private? (Page 3) Comrade_: I have no issues with a mother breastfeeding in public so long as she's covering up appropriately. Example as much as I'd want to go to work naked for the sake of not ironing my clothes, I'm not allowed to do this. Even in some public places I'm not allowed to go shirtless. Why? idk we just have one of those things in society I guess. I'd not think anything much on a woman exposing her breast to feed her child but it might serve as a protection for her to cover it appropriately, I've seen some use a rag and lay it over. Bumpa: Yes Comrade, I know several women who would like to be able to wander around topless. If this wasn't the case why are topless or nude beaches so popular? I personally would not want to eat in a public bathroom so I would not expect my or any other persons baby to have to. Just use a little towel or blanket to cover zee boobies, no one needs to whip them right out! If a woman got her boobs out for a man to suck on, I might have a problem with that. deacon7771: OK, Bumpa, that case that you bring up, an adult man sucking on a woman's breast, well it might be a bit outside of what most people understand to be "breast feeding." MOST people, when they read or hear the word "breast feeding," think of the mother feeding her baby, not her boyfriend or husband. As for me, I would not be bothered by even the case you bring up, because I know how to "avert my gaze," and mind my own business, if other people engage in sexual acts around me, I do not care, I only become concerned if they somehow want to involve me. If a woman was topless in public and some other adult was sucking on her breasts, I would not call the cops, as long as it was consenting adults, and nobody was being forcibly raped or assaulted, I would mind my own business. It does not hurt me in any way if other people do this sort of thing, and it sure does not hurt me if a mother feeds her baby. Bumpa: Fair enough Deacon. Just put a baby blanket over your shoulder. I always wore a breast feeding bra and shirt. After your child is born and you plan on breast feeding any apprehension you thought you had are gone.You're child is hungry, feed your child. I do respect Moms who chose not to breast feed.
