How old is to old? (Page 4) spankdmonkey: thats right member x .It is about how you feel ,as long as your not lying to yourself and you are capable ,I still go swimming with my kids i train them sometimes and they cant keep up with me depending on the exercise .It really depends on the person that is why i advise all people to exercise throughout their lives ,stretch stay flexible agile ,and eat healthy its a good quality of life ,What you do in your 30s takes you into your 40s and what you do in your 40s takes you into your 50s and so on .I do see some of the other posters opinions their is some older people that are not to old but are not capable of looking after a kid because they are not active enough .My advice is this get active no matter what Rabbits88: hey spanky.........gotta say........very intelligent comment.......I agree with 100% of what you just said. memberX: your "date of expiry" is almost till the end...after the age of 30 the freshness is just a past... ebony_joy: 43 isn't too old to have a kid. most people are waiting till their 40's to have kids anyway so he's right on time and so are you. good luck. chubbychick000: All you ppl who suggested adopting make no sense. What hell difference is adoption than having their own kid? They'd still have to take care of the child either way. And a person is only as old as she/he feels, don't put too much emphasis on a number. A person could be in his/her 40's and be agile and in good health mind, body and spirit. Or a person could be in his/her 20's and feel like shit, old and barely getting by. It has to do with many factors, not just age. Get it memberX? memberX: no...than why are we counting the years, at all...hahhaha the answer...cause we can say.,..she is young person she has 20 or she is old she has 40...ok. chubbychick000: Ok, but if the person feels young and is up to it, not in her/his 50's but maybe 40's, then why shouldn't she/ he have another child, if that is what she wants? memberX: ...giving birth to a child on the age of 50 is really irresponsible thing to do...from a medical point of view. DubsGirl: quite simply put.... age is nothing but a number. I am only 22 and my husband will be 40 in December. We have two kids. Ages 4 year and 10 months. We still don't know if we want another one... but the possibility is still there. DubsGirl: Because we don;t know if our family is complete, We have alot of love to give and while it all goes to our two babies now, one day we might decide to give the same love to another little person. | Parenting Chat Room 30 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
