I sent someone messages but then when I check my inbox all of them are gone

solittle: Did you choose "See All Sent" in your mailbox?
Messages you send are listed separately from messages you receive.

If they are still there, they should be in the "See All Sent" folder. It depends on who sent the first message.

solittle: In your mailbox, there are four tabs on the top left:
Unread, Received, Sent, All.

If you click All, you will see all your messages listed.

If you click Received, it will display only the messages where the first message was sent to you by someone else.

If you click Sent, it will display only the messages where the first message was sent TO someone else by YOU.

So, it makes a difference who sent the first message in whether you will see the message thread in Messages Received or in Messages Sent.

tina_time7: so little, alright but they are not in the All folder either. Plus you are right on the sent part - I didn't even realize that part.

solittle: So, there is still no trace in your message box of several messages you sent to one particular person?

Have you tried again to send them a new message?
Is their profile still active, not deleted?

tina_time7: yes I kept trying after I noticed that happened.

solittle: The only thing I can guess is it must be some kind of a glitch.
If you want to message me the person's name, I could try sending them a message and see if I have the same problem or not.

I did get through to him, and gave him the link to this thread.

He said he would try to message you again from the message he still had in his mailbox.
I figured he must have gotten through to you, so I didn't feel I needed to leave any more comments here.

tina_time7: Yes I saw he was scratching his head. The point was my messages not going through to him though and you checking that.

tina_time7: I’m not trying to get in touch with him now but I can still know if it just doesn’t work for me or for everyone. Or maybe the why doesn’t matter. Or the how. Maybe it’s a glitch as you said. It’s just weird it only happens with him to me.

solittle: If it is a glitch, it wasn't for everyone, since I was able to reach him.

The other thought I had, was did you check your message box in both Trail_7 and tina_time7? You might have forgotten which name you messaged him from.

MaximilianoM: I’m not sure if anyone has said it but it can be that the person has blocked you. If so, best to let them be and move on to other things.

solittle: If he had blocked her before she sent the messages, she wouldn't have been able to send them.

If he had blocked her after he received the messages, that still should not have erased the messages from her mailbox.

tina_time7: Edit: what I meant was that I was trying to send messages but they did not go through to the person. I click send and the screen flashed I think it were but they did not go through as I checked and it only showed the last message from the other person.
