It's not the "government" I'm "listening to", it's the world's leading medical experts and scientists I'm listening too... the same ones that the governments listen to. Governments only introduce and enforce "policy"... and they make health policies based on the facts that the medical experts and scientists give them. The fact that governments even "had" to enforce mask-wearing policies is absurd to me. I had a good supply of N94 masks already in my workshop before this all started, and I put one on when in public when I first heard the word "pandemic". I didn't need a government to tell me it was a good idea. And I was also aware that global pandemics tend to occur every century or so, so I was not at all surprised when this one happened. I was expecting something like this to occur for the past few decades. And when it did, I knew the medical experts would work quickly to counter it with a new vaccine, and I waited patiently yet eagerly to get it. I was very relieved and happy when it became available to me, and it seemed like the "light at the end of a dark tunnel". The fact that so many people were "against" the vaccine was disturbing to me, and almost made me ashamed to be a member of the human species... the saving grace being that people like you are in the minority. And regarding that "98% survival rate" that is apparently "no big deal".. a little math lesson for you... in a world with almost 8 billion people, that 2% accounts for 160 MILLION people. That's how many would die without modern medical intervention and cautionary measures. And you'd have been OKAY with that?? That's more people than all those who died in all the wars of the 20th century, both military and collateral civilian casualties. As it is now, only 5 million have died of Covid... which is STILL a lot of death. But now it can be easily prevented with the vaccines. Hospital's around here are not crammed with covid patients and everybody who catches covid does not have go to the hospital so where are all these's numbers coming from. MY wife has heard from friends where people have died from the shot alone and not only that but people who have taken the shot are still catching covid so what is the point. Two women and my wife because they work together caught covid and none of them went into the hospital and the covid was gone in two weeks and none of them cook the shot.but one did take the immune injection. I was in very close contact with my wife all this while like kissing and other things and I did not catch it but I take good care of my health by taking supplements. One of my daughter's lives with us and her boyfriend and they did not catch covid but they were not in close contact with my wife , they are not vaccinated. I have another daughter and a friend who got the shot and my daughter had to miss work and stayed in bed for two days with a 105 degree temperature and very sick. I judge on whats going around me at the local level and it's nowhere near of what I've being told on whats going on in other area's of the country. of course in new York where they rammed sick covid patients in with high risk nursing home residents and most got covid and many died because they already had health problems that covid would just make it worse to a point to where covid sped up the process and they died of under lying conditions earlier than they would have died. Like how we need laws to make sure people wear seat-belts in cars. Or laws that limit the speed they drive, or careless or dangerous driving laws so people don't drive around like idiots. As for the vaccine, nobody is threatening to fine you or throw you in jail if you don't get it, as in the case of those driving laws if you disobey them.
