Yesterday, our government ordered a level 5 lockdown (highest). This is the second time this has been ordered. The first one was on 12 March and lasted for 6 weeks and slowly restrictions were eased. It took about 3 months to get any sense of normality back. We're back to the same place again! This time, schools are remaining open... probably the single important difference between the 1st and and this one...  Corwin: Here in Canada they're getting the vaccine first to the long term care facilities and front line medical workers, then the elderly and high-risk population. But for some reason the entire roll-out of the vaccine is a long drawn-out process. We're told that it won't be available to the general public of younger (generally healthy) people like myself until September. Doh. I was really hoping we'd all have our shots by June when the fishing season opens. My dad and I are overdue for some quality time. Ah well. When you get the vaccine, you're not just protecting "yourself", you're protecting everyone -- family, friends, and strangers alike.
