Shoot the breeze! (Page 20) LoisS: *You will never do the Ed Sullivan show again! Hey, man, we just did the Sullivan show...! J.M LoisS: @ Malvado . Well over here I am still hating having to wait outside in a line sometimes to just grocery shop, I mean, its winter in Canada ffs, its bloody cold Otherwise, just getting through it and hoping summer comes early this year ....I miss the beach! Corwin: @ Lois -- Deb and I have a simple solution for that. We just don't shop anywhere where there's lineup outside. For one, it means that they're filled to max capacity, so, no thanks... and two, if everybody did that there wouldn't BE lineups outside. LoisS: Whatever works for you Corwin. Sometimes I dont have a choice or the time to drive around looking for no lineups. LoisS: Its 24 here too.... -24 lolol Its just bitter outside for some reason and its not even that cold, for most people, yet. Brr I did however order some furniture so there is that to be excited about . But I have to go through clothes and get rid of a lot of crap which is fun but still a chore. *Through (Edited by LoisS) Corwin: I have probably a month's worth of food in my freezers and pantries at any given time, so I always have a "choice" to pass on a grocery store lineup. LoisS: Not sure why me saying waiting outside in a line sometimes is an issue of some kind. I mentioned it was cold. I didnt say it was always, I didnt say the line was 50+ people. I said I dont always have a choice esp when I run out of something I need or I make a mistake and have to start again and need something right away. I have looked into online shopping. Again I was making conversation. Not trying to tell people what to do or how to shop or how much extra supplies they should have. I said whatever works for you. Corwin: I'm not sure why it's an issue of some kind either. Perhaps you should pour yourself a drink and relax. Not telling you what to do... just offering a helpful suggestion. Wild__: A raccoon committed suicide today by jumping in front of my car as drove to work this morning. That little shit damaged my bumper on his way out. Corwin: I hear that racoon suicides are on the rise. And stepping in front of cars is one of their only options. If I understand it correctly, in America only bears have the right to be armed. Wild__: If you see a depressed racoon call the raccoon suicide prevention hotline. Raccoon lives matter. Unless of course said depression was caused by my tire... | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
