The giant midget: Skilled construction workers aren't cheap and cheap labourers aren't skilled Unskilled construction labourers are prone to work related accidents , injuries and at its worst it becomes fatal Why hire cheap labourers from Mexico or anywhere else if you can just replace them with low risk American citizen prisoners that are behind bars through out your nation They are already in the country, they are already being fed and housed by the American taxpayers therefore no need to pay them , after the wall is build majority of the prisoners will become skilled workers to work in other projects El Comandante: -Mexico isn't paying in any form. -The US can finance its own projects. -Mexicans are not interested in building any wall. -Using prisoners is a fantasy idea considering that many are not skilled in construction, not to mention the red tape and the controversy around current use of prisoners for cheap labour.
