wireclub experiences....good or bad luvbunnies: has being a member on wire changed any views on your outlook of people today? or is this the greatest place to relax lol calybonos: I use to think people were useless burdens on the world. But becoming a Wireclub member really opened my eyes to the bigger picture in life. I see now they're also useless burdens on the internet too. calybonos: I try to grow a little bit as a compassionate and tolerant person each day. Regardless of the idiots that surround me. luvbunnies: at one point, i really tried to help ppl that i saw were a mess, and ya know what??? no thank u, nothing........ calybonos: Some things are better left alone. Like a turd laying in the street, if you try and pick it up, it's probably gonna make more of a mess, and smell worse than if you just walked around it. luvbunnies: this was my first chat site, and at the beginning it was great, but its like nowadays this place is as negative as the news as far as hatred, bullying, etc.,. calybonos: I have to agree on the first part about it being great in the earlier days here. Sure we still had some of the same old drama and all that, but like real life, we were left to fend for ourselves. And just like real life, we either learned to survive and became stronger for it, or ran away crying, which didn't solve anything, but it did make for some interesting entertainment. I know it made me a more easy-going person, anyway. Now, we have 13 year olds acting like it;s the end of the world because they go booted from some other immature brat's member created chatroom. Or people whining about people begging for credits instead just ignoring the typed words on the screen, or even better yet, using the opportunity to have a little fun trolling those who take themselves too seriously. And so what do they do? They go crying to a Mod. I also blame the power of deleting being given to thread makers. Worse thing ever when it comes to coddling people if you ask me. I'm not talking about using it to delete someone straight-up attacking you. I guess I can understand that. Some people can't defend themselves. But more often I've seen people use it to censor anything they don't agree with....or anyone they don't like. I guess what I'm saying is; You can learn to survive, even thrive and have a good time once you learn to play the game. If you start taking yourself or this virtual reality too seriously, then a good checking by somebody might be just what you need to knock you back into the real world. (Post deleted by jazzy22226 ) luvbunnies: then there are those who type something so rude and filthy to ya, and then delete it right away, so they dont get suspended......those are the ones that need a good............ calybonos: You might want to finish that sentence. I usually get into trouble when I'm left alone with only my imagination to fill in the blanks. LoisS: Yes some views it has. People being overly sensitive with everything. Not knowing how to have a conversation with someone. Just being an over all pain in the ass wanna be troll. Minding other peoples business in the same sentence as "I don't care about them" lols. That one always makes me laugh. Some times the dynamic changes and you have to find your niche Get over here Caly........... | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
