Generally speaking:
1.) Sexting is the act of sending sexually explicit text, and sometimes pictures or video, to someone else, (usually to someone you know personally, but can also be with people you do not know personally) meant to mimic the act of having sex with that person.
2.) Porn is the act of viewing sexually explicit films or images. Porn is completely impersonal and nothing like sexting.
3.) What qualifies as cheating is determined by both people in the relationship.

If you're with someone who thinks it's cheating, then it's cheating, and you should either not do it, or get a bf/gf who doesn't care what you do.
