Your grandma is in a nursing home. She is 91, completely lucid, and stricken with cancer. There is no hope of recovery and an operation is not viable due to age. She is in pain and on every visit she begs you to end her misery. You have the means to do so at hand - say, ricin, like Walter White. There is no inheritance for you after her death.

1/ Would you do it?
2/ Is it mercy or murder?
3/ Should those who have not witnessed/nursed the dying have a vote on euthanasia?

I am not ready to spend the rest of my life in jail.
What would I do If I were 91 year old and needed mercy? I really do not know. What i know is that I would suffer because of my weakness not putting end of my life when it was possible.
