chronology: Serbia today is the worlds top country for smoking cigarettes. Nearly three times as many Serbs light up a smoke as Americans per capita of population.

Smoking cigarettes became popular in the English speaking world after British Officers in the Crimea War copied Russian Officers who were the first smokers of tobacco wrapped in paper.

Londoners added a 'touch' of Opium to the smokes which made them hyper addictive.

chronology: The Masonic Lodge on the Moon. A Charter was issued by the Grand Masonic Lodge of Texas for 'The Tranquillity Lodge 2000'. For the Charter to be issued a Brother Mason had to take the Documents necessary for the establishment of the Lodge to the region in which it would be established, Brother Buzz Aldrin took the necessary documents with him when he landed on the Moon. Col Michael Collins once commented on the extent of Masonic memorabilia Buzz had with him when he was on the Apollo 11 Flight; 'Buzz had Masonic rings and other stuff with him'.

So if the Moon is ever occupied by people full time, a long established Masonic Lodge is ready for Brother Masons to use. Col Aldrin is also said to have performed a Masonic Ritual on the Moon, possibly linked to the establishment of the Lodge, he broke a small piece of bread and drank a small cup of wine.

The main articles of the Moon Lodge is to promote the 'Health Education and Welfare of children of all countries'.

chronology: It is the most Apocalyptic Urban Myth in American history, namely that 'LSD can be dumped into a city water supply and send Americans stark raving mad'. American families probably had visions of New York or L.A. being reduced to the same insanity as European Cities sent trippy with Ergot poisoning in the Middle Ages. Abie Hoffman, the American Hippy in the 1960s threatened to spike Chicago's water supply with LSD, and a bazar Cult threatened to drive around cities in the US spraying LSD into the air.

In fact, US Officials were at least two decades ahead of the crazy people, they had carried out studies to preempt such crimes. And their findings were? LSD does not dissolve well in cold water, also, the drug is neutralised when it passes through the chlorine process of the water treatment system. LSD sprayed into the air could possibly effect a few unlucky people, but it would have no wide scale effect. Note, no LSD was used in any city water supply for the study, Dr Nick Bercel advised US Departments on the results of such criminal acts.

chronology: 'In the world of Advertising, there is no such thing as a lie, just expedient exaggeration', quipped Cary Grant in 'North by Northwest'.

Cary Grant is considered by some Hollywood Historians as the most significant male actor in Hollywood History. 'Grant was no character actor, he played variations of the same character in all his Movies', observed one Movie expert. But his handsome good looks, exquisite clothes and transatlantic accent made Grant a Hollywood legend. Many Americans are puzzled at Grants accent, he came from Bristol England which has a soft rounded pronunciation.

chronology: With the centenary of WW1 upon us, many people are still mystified at how Germany lost WW1, and still speculate on the reasons for the loss of the war.

Conspiracy Theorists inevitably blame 'Jewish Bankers', so for that matter did the NSDAP. But what was the real reason for Germany's defeat?

When the order was given to German Divisions to stop hostilities and surrender, German soldiers were astonished, they had inflicted astonishing defeats on the Allies and looked set to inflict more of the same. The rumour soon spread that the Army had been 'stabbed in the back'.

In reality Berlin was forced to accept that the Blockade of Germany by Britains Royal Navy and the entrance of the United States Navy into the War made any hope of continuing the war unrealistic, if not impossible. But people cannot see events far out at sea, and pretty soon the imaginations of many people began to work overtime on who had betrayed Germany. Mr Hitler soon provided a scapegoat.

chronology: Plano Texas 1979. With just three or four bounds, a curious man crosses a Football Field astonishing a dozen or so onlookers. Some folks believe this to be yet another appearance of 'Spring Healed Jack'. If it was Jack, he is certainly upwardly mobile these days, swapping the dark festering poverty stricken streets of London, for the bright sunshine and breezy affluence of residential Texas.

The Plano incident could have been a simple prank of some sorts, but Spring Healed Jack is an enduring mystery, first seen in around 1840, then off and on for nearly 60 years around England, mostly London.

If Texas Rangers ever do capture 'Jack', they will probably give him his first decent meal and insist that he take a shower.

chronology: Americas 65 year romance with 'The Beetle'. In 1949 a Dutch importer brought two VW Beetles into the US, and Americans immediately fell in love with the automobile, so much so that in 1969 500.000 Beetles were sold in America. Car drivers around the world agreed with Americans, and when the last Beetle was manufactured in Mexico it had become the top selling automobile of all time selling 21.000.000 units around the world.

The 'Love Bug' as the Beetle was affectionately nick named also became the 'car of the 60s' in popular culture.

chronology: William Garretson still has no memory of the night Sharon Tate died. Bill Garretson was the House Sitter at Ciello Drive where the most shocking murder of the 1960s to place, a murder that seemed to leave the Western World speechless. It made no sense at all, and only one man survived the night that ended Sharon Tate's life. What did Bill remember of that night?

A friend of Bill, Steve Parent had called at his home next to Sharon's Residence to show him, (says Bill) a clock radio he had purchased. After examining the clock radio Bill gave Steve a can of Beer, Steve drank the Beer then left the house and stepped into the night.

And for Bill, that was it. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. About 20 feet from Bills home, Steve Parent was blasted in the head with a pistol, on the lawn, a stones throw away, people were stabbed beaten and shot. Inside Sharon's home, she was tortured, stabbed and strangled, as was a male friend.

Bill says all he remembers that night was feeling strangely afraid, his dog barked once or twice, he could not sleep, and when he tried to use the telephone he found it was dead. So were five people less than a hundred feet from his home.

Bill could not sleep, he watched it grow light outside in the Los Angeles dawn, he did eventually fall asleep. He woke up to find an LAPD Police Officer pointing a gun at him and telling him to get up.

Bill has rarely spoken of the terrible night in Bennedict Canyon, and when he does, he seems to be very confused. He obtained employment as the House Sitter after being picked up hitchhiking and asked if he needed a job.

One commentator observed about Bill's story of that night; 'if he did hear what was happening and made the decision to stay inside and hide, I don't blame him. Had he ventured outside, he would have been killed for sure'.

chronology: In his song 'Chicago' Frank Sinatra stated that Chicago was 'The Union Stockyard', he was of course being poetical. But the Union Stockyard was fundamental to the development of Chicago as a City, and instrumental in the creation of some of Americas first Global Corporations.

In the early 1920s more animals were slaughtered at the Yards than any other place on earth, and such industries as refrigeration and railroads grew fast to accommodate the business.

The Yards closed in 1971 as the U.S. began to diversify meatpacking across the U.S.A.

Few folks in Chicago were sorry to see the Yards go. It was a vegetarians vision of Hell, and the smell from the Yards was often enough to make people throw up.

chronology: 'The Pen is mightier than the Sword' even mightier than the Pen is the Camera.

Lewis Hine was a Photographer in the early years of the 20th century and his photographs of little American girls as young as 10 working in Cotton Mills and American 10 year old boys working as coal miners prompted American Lawmakers to outlaw child labour in the U.S.

F.D. Roosevelt signed Laws into action that prevented most child labour during his 'New Deal' Era.

While Hine's photographs were disturbing, the truly shocking images of American children mangled by Factory machinery have never been seen by the Public.

The US corrected that issue a century ago. However in Asia, specifically China, child labor is the norm.

lori100: Renegade is Obama's Secret Service name. The first choice submitted to the United States Secret Service was rejected, however. The name originally submitted to be Obama’s codename was “Quisling.” A quisling is defined as a person who helps an enemy that has taken control of his or her country.

I saw a documentary that suggested and actually swayed me to believe that the secret service agent accidentally fired a shot and hit JFK.

The documentary is on Netflix and the name of the movie is "JFK: The smoking gun"

Also a book was written about the theory.

"Mortal Error: The Shot That Killed JFK" is a 1992 non-fiction book by Bonar Menninger describing a theory by sharpshooter, gunsmith and ballistics expert Howard Donahue that a Secret Service agent accidentally fired the shot that actually killed President John F. Kennedy.

chronology: david. Honestly, I expected better from you. All of the CSI evidence points without any doubt whatsoever that JFK was killed by a glancing shot from above and behind, from the TSBD. There was a street full of witnesses, do you think they would not have heard the shot? A car with Secret Service Agents in? and no one said anything? Jackie just sat there and watched her husband shot? never said anything? Governor Connelly never said a word?

I'm tellin yah....watch the documentary. You will be swayed with the evidence. Watch the documentary. For example. It is a fact that one of the bullets was a full metal jacket that went through JFK and the governor and that the bullet was retrieved. The second bullet that hit JFK in the head was not full metal jacketed and exploded the brain, blew out the right side of the presidents skull and only small metal fragments were recovered. TWO DIFFERENT BULLETS. The AR-15 that was seen by multiple people of the secret service agent. That weapon was not loaded with full metal jacket bullets. If the second shot from Oswald was full metal jacket, it would have gone through his head...small hole in....small hole out....as designed.

Watch the video. I never thought there was a conspiracy, but I never thought of it as a friendly fire incident.

chronology: And your source for all this is? The Official Examination of Mr Kennedy and Mr Connelly links their injuries to the bullets fired by Oswald. A co-worker was at a window below Oswalds, he heard all three shots, heard the rifle bolt action being used, heard the cartridges fall on the floor, they were found by Dallas PD Detectives. A witness saw a man matching Oswalds description standing at the window with his rifle seconds after the shooting.

Where did those three bullets go? Dallas Offices searched the road, they went into JFK and Mr Connelly. and you are suggesting a man was shot in the head by a man sat in a car in broad daylight surrounded by dozens of witnesses and nobody heard or saw anything?

chronology: For goodness sake David, I have heard this 'theory' years ago and seen the 'evidence'. The Secret Service Driver in the car was a former Farm Laborer from Ireland with practically no education at all. Does not sound like a likely conspirator to me.

A little Trivia about a Secret Service Driver. A man was visiting JFK one time in Washington, as he stood in the White House Grounds he noticed Jackie Kennedy was stood talking and she was getting late for a function, a White House Limo was waiting to take her to. The Limo Driver leaned out of the waiting car and called to Jackie; 'Come on Jackie, move your f@ckin ass'.

Yes, I'm sure you might have heard the SS agent theory years ago.

However, a responsible, decorated, and honorable retired Australian detective recently looked at all the evidence, read through the entire Warren Commission Report, numerous times, and came up with the AR-15 ammunition versus Oswald's ammunition.

The big deal is....the shot that went through JFK's neck and the governors body, was full metal jacket.

The big deal is..the shot that hit JFK's head...was not.

That alone...is definitely...a smoking gun.
