chronology: Still no answer to the Helen Smith death mystery.

In 1979 nurse Helen Smith from Yorkshire England was found dead at the bottom of a swanky Apartment Complex in Saudi Arabia. Nearby a Dutch Tugboat Captain grotesquely lay impaled on a metal fence.

Saudi Authorities soon found that Helen had been at a apartment in the complex. They knocked on the door and a man who was described as 'with the smell of stale alcohol on his breath opened the door blurry eyed'. The suspicion of drinking alcohol alone was enough to get the man arrested in Saudi. It eventually seemed to Saudi Police that Helen and the Dutch man had been drunk, gone onto the balkany to enjoy sex and then fell over bannister and died.
There had been a number of guests at the party enjoying booze and sex, so they were definitely unwilling to appear before Saudi Authorities and give witness statements. Essentially the case was simply wrote off as a drunken frollic gone wrong.

But Helen's dad flew to Saudi Arabia and made his own investigations. Back in Yorkshire he went over the evidence from Saudi medical and police reports and was certain nothing about the conclusions of the Police were correct. The police had to simply guess what happened as most of the people at the party had vanished. And were not expected to ever come forward.

Now, over 40 years later, how Helen died is still a mystery. The most likely explanation is from a Dutch Diving expert who was at the party. He says there was a superb enjoyment of booze sex and great food etc among the guests. But a horrible fight had broken out between the Dutch Tugboat Cpt and another man. Helen had somehow become hurt in the fighting and both she and the Dutch man were killed.

Who knows wireclubers. People with huge tax free salaries all enjoying top shelf booze and sex. People who would also loose everything if they were discovered drinking alcohol in Saudi. So no one is admitting they were even there, let alone revelling in enjoyment of life's secret pleasures.

chronology: Never say this, at a haunted place or anywhere.

As far as most sceptics are concerned, people who think they can get in touch with dead people, either through religion, or ouija boards etc are all people a can short of a six pack. But some true believers in life after death can always be found, stepping carefully around the garbage in deserted buildings that supposedly are haunted.
These people almost always make a deadly mistake, right from the start. They call out 'is there anybody here'?

An American expert on ghost investigation explains 'that is the worst possible statement you can make when visiting places which have spirits. What you are doing is the same as a Ham Radio operator who calls out an open invitation to anyone who can hear him to interact with him. The trouble is it establishes a open door in your psyche for any psychic being to enter '.

Don't know how such a infestation could result from saying that wireclubbers. But I will never say those words if ever I find myself in a haunted place.

chronology: The Shadow of Gary Gilmore.

Gary Gilmore casts a long shadow over American Death Penalty debates. Gary campaigned to be executed and was granted his choice.
Now Gary is about to begin the process in South Carolina.

The State has not executed anyone for 10 years due to drug manufacturers required pledges that their products will not be used in executions. So the only option left is the electric chair. And SC Authorities are unwilling to sign off on using that method. 'It's an awful way to kill someone' said one State Official. But after studying the Gary Gilmore execution State Officials are satisfied that execution by firing squad is both humane and can be fully under control of the State. 'Five bullets in the heart will kill someone virtually instantly so there is no suffering' said one Official.

Folks in the South have mixed feelings about the Death Penalty like elsewhere in the United States. One Prison Governor in the South summed up his view by saying 'am not for or against the Death Penalty. But it does serve a purpose in our Legal system'.

chronology: Jen Psaki 'we are following event's closely' .

U.S. State Department spokesperson Ms Psaki has stated America is watching event's in Israel closely and President Biden is being given up to the minute report's on the violence in the area.

It is being said Mr Biden is standing back from the violence and leaving the two sides to come to terms sooner or later.

Violence escalated between Israel and Palestinians in Jerusalem over access to Holy Site's and the dividing up of residential housing. Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and hundreds injured along with around a dozen Israelis killed.

Mr Biden is said to have called Israel and urged both sides in the violence to stop the killings immediately.

International Groups have urged Washington to create negotiation meetings in the troubled district but some observers have pointed out Washington DC is snowed under with work overload due to economic and other pressing matters affecting Americans. 'There just isn't the Staff to send to Israel right now, everyone is working flat out on American concerns' .

chronology: Despite American calls for an end to violence, dozens more die in Israel in the last few hours.

Mr Biden has been attempting to re establish American Credibility with Palestinian Leaders in Israel while not offending Israel. Relations with Palestinians hit rock bottom with America during the President Trump years. American Evangelical Zionist urged Mr Trump on to back Israel no matter what.

Ms Jen Psaki of the White House has repeated Americas stand that Israel has a right to defend itself, while American support for equal Rights for all people living in Jerusalem has not changed.

Wireclubbers, we can only hope as the sun rises in Israel this morning that violence will end in Israel, the death toll is already approaching a hundred.

Zanjan: True. One should never bargain with the devil. Then again, one shouldn't assume anyone is the devil - that's only after they've proven they're not willing to sign a peace treaty.

Peace negotiations have been ongoing for 25 years. A truce was in place and Hamas dishonored it. There's no excuse for these attacks against Israel and Hamas should be put down ASAP. Best if the United Nations commanded that but it doesn't matter as long as it works.

Unfortunately, the casualties of war are innocent citizens and children but Hamas knew that before they started lobbing missiles at Israel. Palestinians have no place to complain.

chronology: Her Honour Mrs Justice Keegan rule's the 10 victims shot in Ballymurphy 50 year's ago were innocent victims.

Her Honour has ruled that the victims were not involved in terrorist activities when they were shot

There have been celebrations in Ballymurphy Belfast, photographs of the victims have been held up and innocent has been chanted.

It is unclear whether criminal charges will be brought against soldiers questioned at the Ballymurphy Inquiry.

But at the moment, the people of Ballymurphy are overjoyed at the ruling. Her Honour Mrs Justice Keegan praised the families for their integrity and public spirit.

The Inquiry was exhausting for her Honour Mrs Justice Keegan as she faced often frustrating questioning of soldiers at the Inquiry. In one incident Her Honour responded to a request from a former soldier in England who sat swigging from a can of beer while telling a doctor he was unfit to travel to Belfast. 'I cannot accept a request from a man with a can of beer in his hands to be excused from the attending an Inquiry' commented the Judge.

chronology: Secret Submarines, as secret as ever.

Being around the same size as a medium sized yaught the subs can even cross the Atlantic to Europe from Latin American.

There has always been reports of far more complex and much bigger submarines sailing under the world's oceans, and even passing under the world's ice caps. The United States Navy reportedly has numerous case files on record of Navy Ships encounters with the these subs. But the Navy is cautious about describing their encounted vessels as submarines. As one Navy Spokesperson stated some year's ago 'there is sonar and other data definitely recording some kind of object's under water' . He pointed out that the Navy is not keeping their record's 'secret' they just not have the Staff to deal with the thousands of requests for their records. 'We will always provide full details for recognised researchers and institutions studying this phenomenon. But just cannot answer the conspiracy theory type requests for Navy Documents' .

Don't know wirreclubbers, with Secret submarines known to carry cargoes of 300.000.000. dollars at a time, maybe it is tempting for some Cartels to construct deep diving conventional type subs. But as any sailor who has served in submarines would tell you, even if these guy's have the money to buy such subs (and they do have) you cannot just go down to Walmart and buy one. It takes skilled Navy Shipyards year's to build a submarine using skilled staff and equipment.

Old Salt's in the Navy would tell you there is one way for Cartels to get hold of a submarine. It is the old 'hoax sinking' usually used in insurance fraud. A sub could obtained after being reported lost at sea. But that would be like something out of the X Files the Old Salt's would say.

chronology: Peter Madsen may be having a closer watch on him after Drug Cartels begin constructing Stealth Narco Subs.

Drug Cartels began building crude Narco Subs around 20 year's ago. But in the last 2 year's United State's Navy and Coast Guard Staff have begun seizing Subs with much more sophisticated design and construction. The Cartels are definitely committed to creating Stealth Narco Subs that can avoid Navy Ship's. They are even said to be constructing Drone Subs.

For the United State's Drug Enforcement Agency a real nightmare would be if the Billionaire Drug Barons manage to spring a man like Peter Madsen out of Prison in Denmark and set him up somewhere with a few Hundred million dollars to build a sub that would be as advanced as a U.S. Navy Sub. It may sound far fetched, but with a few hundred thousand dollars he built a presentable ocean going submarine as a hobby.

It may sound like an X Files Show, but the DEA would probably say that with a person like Madsen, and billions of dollars in drug money anything is possible. U.S. Federal Agent's are probably hoping their colleagues in Denmark keep a a sharp eye on Madsen.

chronology: Huawei, uh oh, is this Windows all over again?

Back when the Internet began Mr Gates Windows Software became the Global Operating System for just about every PC and Business computer. It was a convenient and easy to use system. Being Global meant that the American Software could be learned and used anywhere by almost anyone. If you wanted another Software package you could opt for Apple.

It never took long before some people began accusing America of trying to take over the world wide Web with Windows. Microsoft insisted it was doing no such thing.
Well, 20 year's on and the paranoia about Windows has proved nonsensical. Windows link's up the world, and everyone enjoys the ease of access to the Web.

Enter President Trump. Mr Trump began insisting Huawei was a major security risk with it's Cell phone tower's and phone's. The Chinese Giant provided first class phone connection with excellent communication tower's. But, shock horror, someone discovered that the owner of Huawei had once served in the Chinese Army. This proved China was trying to take over the world with it's Cell phone network.

Well Mr Trump has moved on from Office, but his legacy is seeing engineer's climbing up Cell phone tower's in Europe Great Britain and America ripping down Huawei Equipment and replacing it with European and American Equipment.

All this has caused major disruption in the Cell Phone business. It has also begun a new conspiracy theory, ' America is now using 5G to spread Corona Viruses' .

Is there any proof at all China is trying to rule the world via cell phone tower's? No, nothing at all. So why on earth did Mr Trump begin such chaos in the Communication business? Most likely it was simply a trade dispute between his government and China that spun out of control. We are today seeing people climbing around Cell Phone tower's pulling down China's equipment and replacing it with other equipment.

Huawei is also said to be banned from using new versions of Android, the Windows Mobile Software. This will risk disruption to global communications as Huawei will be running on a different operating system.

If you find yourself struggling to obtain a Cell Phone connection in the future you may be justified in blaming Mr Trump for your long connection wait.

All this nonsensical disruption may be just nationalistic trade wars by countries, or it may be Mr Trump's heavy handed style of government leaving a legacy in communications.

chronology: Israel Palatine fighting continues.

The USA, Europe, Russia, the world's Religious Leader's, and other major countries have all urged both sides in the dispute to. 'stand back and stop attacking each other' .

Over a hundred people have been killed and over a thousand seriously injured. Around the world there have been partisan demonstration's by supporter's of either side in the fighting.
The world's leading nation's would probably appreciate the public supporting their calls for a stop to the violence by both sides, and not join in the dispute by accusing either side involved in the fighting of being responsible for the violence.

chronology: President Biden, the Team Player.

Mr Bidens response to the violence in Israel Gaza has brought a number of commentaries in the Media. Some are saying Mr Biden is trying a new approach of America standing back and encouraging local countries around Israel to lead Peace negotiations and end the current crisis. Mr Putin of Russia is advocating a similar policy.

Traditionally Democratic Party Officials have always been quick to be critical of Human Rights issues in conflict situations, but Mr Biden is trying a new method of standing aside and trying to encourage as many local countries as possible in the region to engage in negotiations . Mr Biden is said to be well informed on all issues in the middle East conflict, and is being kept up to date with hourly reports from the region.

In plain English the President is doing everything he can for Peace, but he doesn't want Washington DC sucked into the conflict like in the past.

Mr Beden's style of cautious diplomacy is in stark contrast to Mr Trump who threw himself whole heartedly behind Israeli Right Wing political parties in virtually anything they did.

None the less even a cautious stance by Washington DC is being criticized by some in the middle East. With Democrats back in power in Washington DC politically minded people in the region expected Washington to respond with Human Rights concerns immediately violence broke out in the region. The silence from the White House surprised many observers.

Most likely Democrats are just snowed under with work at the moment due to America's own problems and just have no spare time for foreign issues.

Zanjan: Looks to me like these series of truces over the decades are just momentary breaks to rest and restock amo. No treaty discussions ever took place during these breaks. The UN can't get involved because it's not one country invading another - it's an internal dispute.

Israel is very capable of defending itself; it knows what its doing. If we had the same situation in our own country, we'd take the same course as they have.

You can't just say stop and they will because the fight is perpetrated between left wing Jewish radicals and Muslim militants. Since neither cares what God wants, they both need to be removed from the equation.

Personally, I think the International community should focus on stopping International arms sales. If a country needs weapons, it should make them in their own country.

chronology: Interesting view's Zan. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing now. From White House Officials to Mr Putin in Moscow, to the Pope and others. Mom's at the checkouts in Walmart, and their husbands filling up with gas all are saying the same thing for the most part 'they should just step back and stop attacking each other' .

Zanjan: That's not a solution; it's the aim. Getting an insurrection under control can't be achieved through passivity.

chronology: This date in 392 Roman Emperor Valentinian 2nd found hanging in his Palace in Vienna (present day France).

Historians disagree on whether Valentinian was murdered or if he committed suicide.
The day before he was found dead in his Palace he had handed a senior aid a letter of dismissal. The aid had thrown the letter back at him and stormed out of the the room. Next day the aid called for Palace staff who found him stood near the Emperor's body hanging in the Palace.

Well if reports are accurate, today David was at a rally in London. Excited fans of David welcomed him when he arrived to march with protesters about the Israel Gaza situation.

So if you are a fan of David, don't worry, he is still active and involved in events of the day.

chronology: Moscow takes to the sky.

For folks who love Las Vegas, they tell you one reason they enjoy returning to their holiday town is the blaze of lights. That and the often crazy skyline.

But Moscow has become the city that fans of skyscrapers love to visit. Old Moscow is the High Rise capital of Europe. The city has practically all the top 5 tallest buildings in Europe.

It's not clear why Moscow began reaching for the sky around 2000. Maybe it was the millennium or something, but they began building sky high building's back then, and have never stopped.

chronology: Did the Office of Naval Intelligence and Military Intelligence Department set the pattern for covering up Test Aircraft Crashes?

In 1897, so the story goes, a 'Airship from Mars' crashed at Aurora Texas. Most people regard the story as a fanciful Urban Myth told by Texans over cups of Coffee.

But people who have looked into the story closely are convinced that some kind of Airship crashed at Aurora. Most likely a United States Navy Airship.

What is interesting, is the way American Intelligence responded to the Crash. First there was the clean up. Every single piece of evidence was cleaned up. Then came the cover stories. Most likely, the ONI decided that the 'little man from Mars' story was the best suited to get people completely uninterested in double quick time. The ONI was a new Agency at the time, so was the Mid. But the reported stories of Airships in America always had associated nonsense stories of the crews of such ships telling anyone who met them during forced landings that they were from Mars or Venus. But clearly they were Americans, and most likely Navy personnel.

The MID had been created a few years after the ONI. But seems unlikely to have been involved in Airship development.

The is a creepy twist to this theory. Even the ONI were probably unsettled by many UFO stories from the years after Aurora. Americans were reporting meeting odd people in highly advanced Craft who told them all kinds of crazy stories. Some of these encounters appear to have been true. No doubt some ONI Officials were left wondering after reading of such bizarre encounters, and the exact same style of cover up they are thought to have used in the past. 'Who the heck was that'? was probably the Navy reaction.

chronology: The LGBT Community saddened at the murder of a Gay man in Iran.

Authorities in Iran are investigating the kidnapping and murder of a Gay man simply because he was gay.

The young man was hoping to escape to the Western World were Gays are shown more respect, but days before he planned to leave Iran he was murdered.

Its all so sad, commented Gay people around the world when they heard of his murder. The young man was described as kind and outgoing. He loved his makeup and lipstick, and his boyfriend, and he never harmed anyone, said his friends.

chronology: This date in 1974, the Dublin Monaghan bombing.

37 people were killed and hundreds were injured in the worst bomb attack during the Troubles in Ireland.

The UVF, a Unionist Paramilitary Force claimed responsibility for the attack, but British Army Bomb experts who cooperated with the Republic of Ireland Police Force in investigating the bombings were suspicious of the complex construction of the bombs. The Army Bomb experts doubted the UVF could construct such complex bombs.

To this day no one has been positively convicted of the crime. Ulster's RUC Police moved swiftly to arrest suspects, but were forced to let them go when Authorities decided not to prosecute.
