Mr Mandela would become the centre of attention at parties from Hollywood to Hamburg as the leader of South African black people.

chronology: HMS Dreadnought launched this date in 1906.

The battleship was a game changer that gave Britain's Royal Navy the lead in Naval warfare. The Steam Turbine system of the Dreadnought would soon become the standard method of generating electricity. 80pc of American electricity would be generated by steam turbines in the years ahead after the use of turbine power for Dreadnoughts propellers.

The U. S. Navy and the German Navy rushed to build Dreadnought type battleships.

chronology: Soccer Star Sala died of 'impact injuries' .



Tragic footballer Sala died of injuries resulting from his planes impact into the water an autopsie has revealed. His body was found in 220 feet of water still inside his plane. Grief stricken fans are still leaving tributes to the much loved football Star Flowers and scars are still being left at his Welsh Club Stadium, along with memorial cards.

The body of the planes pilot has still not been recovered.

chronology: This date in 1935 Bruno Haupmann found guilty of kidnapping Charles Linburges baby son and killing him.

The 'Lindburg Kidnapping' was one of the most sensational crimes in U.S. History that had Americans enthralled with the story of the misfortune of a National Hero and 'all American' Public figure. Mr Lindburg may have worshipped Adolf Hitler, but hey no one is perfect.

When Bruno Haupmann was arrested Americans followed the Trial avidly via Newspapers and Radio.

Some Americans consider Haupman was 'railroaded' into the Electric Chair, and even Mr J Edgar Hoover was said to be privately 'uneasy' with the evidence against Haupmann. But many former F.B.I. men today have no doubt Haupmann was guilty. 'He is as guilty today as when he was found guilty in Court' said one former F.B.I. Agent.

chronology: Ballymurphy Enquiry continues.

Witnesses have told how they were shot during the shooting incidents in Ballymurphy. But their statements are adding more details, but not answering questions. One man who was shot in the back told how he saw two soldiers on a roof 'tracking' him with their rifles just before he was struck by a bullet. But he believes it was not the soldiers on the roof who shot him as his wound was 'horizontal' not from above.

The Enquiry in Belfast continues but so far many of the shooting deaths always assumed by Nationalists in Ireland to have been the result of predudicial targeting of catholics by British Troops appear anyway to have no supporting facts. Perhaps a new forensic science review of any relevant evidence can give more clarity to witness statements.

chronology: The America's very big birds.

At some point in the distant past being a bird watcher in Latin America may have led to you being killed. Some of the birds were 3 metres tall and clocked in at 150 kilos on the scales.

Some scientists believe the bird's were carnivorous, and humans were on their menu. In Poland one bird fossil was found with human bones in it's mouth.

The birds are thought to have been wiped out by wolf packs which eventually encroached on their territory. Big cats also may have added to the extinction of the meat eating birds.

chronology: 140 years ago, The Johnstown Flood.

The flood was caused when a Dam failed and a huge wave of water swept through a working class neighbourhood beneath the Dam.

When people found a 'Toffs Country Club ' had removed portions of the Dam because if hindered their fishing passtime Americans became positively Biblical in indignation at the deaths of children in the disaster. Some said the children had been slaughtered by people worse than King Herod.

Pictures of the devastating flood shocked people around the world who chipped in with donations to help the stricken families.

However the rich folks found themselves again public villains when it was reported that they had constructed their finances in such a way as to prevent any liability for the disaster.

President Trump is being sued for declaring National Emergency Powers which some claim is unconstitutional without good cause.

chronology: Sad date in South African history.

Pete Reteif and hundreds of Voortrecker men women and children are massacred in South Africa.

Mr Reteif had been warned the Zulu Chief was untrustworthy but he was convinced he could make a deal with the Zulu to buy land.

chronology: This date in 1900 worst ever loss of life for British troops in the Boar war.

Despite warnings from other Officers Lord Kitchener ordered a full assault on heavily defended Boar positions which involved British marching across open ground against Boar Sharp Shooters.
No British troops got as near as 200 meters to the Boar positions, 300 were shot dead and nearly a thousand seriously injured. The disaster was a grim preview of identical, but far worse losses in WW1. Boar losses were negligible.

chronology: This date in 1954 the Church of Scientology is founded in Los Angeles.

While many member found the church fulfilling and rewarding. U.S. IRS Agents began investigations that would lead to the Church loosing it's Tax free status. Scientologists strongly objected to the decision by IRS Agents.

chronology: 'Yikes'

Right Wing Catholic Cardinals have infuriated the Gay Community by stating that priests who molested children in the Child Sex and Child Porno scandles that rocked the Catholic Church were 'Gay priests' not just 'Priests' .
Gays have gone through the roof with indignation at the accusation. The Cardinals are also suggesting there is a secret 'Gay Agenda' to take over the Catholic Church.

While some hard line catholics are supporting the Cardinals, most catholics have little interest in the dispute.

According to recent 'conspiracy talk' among conspiracy theorists the Vatican is a hot bed of Gays, and also swingers who are said to be priests.

The reaction of most people who have no constant stand about the subject is complete indiference. Even most catholics have no interest in the argument.

But as said, the Gay Community has gone 'Postal' on being accused of being the culprits of molesting thousands of children in the church.

chronology: Was one of the early Pope's a Vampire?

With all the feathers flying at the moment about Gays being responsible for the child molesting in the catholic church, some folks are remembering the story of how the Vatican was once ruled by Vampires.

Well given how popular Vampires are with people today, this would be a plus not a minus for the catholic church it seems.

But it seems to be a confused story about Pope Innocent the 8th that created all these rumours. Catholic historians would say people are confusing the history of 'medicine' with catholic church history.

Yes, it would seem Innocent did drink cups of human blood, lot's of them, but he did so on medical advice, not because he was a Vampire. At the time doctors did not know how to get blood from one person to another, and they prescribed drinking blood as a way to get blood into a persons body.

If Innocent was found drinking blood today, with all the Vampire fans around he would have millions of fans on face book.

chronology: 'Get me Roger Stone' !

Judge Jackson has imposed a strickter Gag Order on Roger after he posted a picture of Her Honour in the Cross Hairs of a rifle. The Judge was not amused and warned Roger if he continues with such pictures he will face Jail.

Long time Washington DC insider Roger was headline news around the world some weeks back when he was arrested in a Dawn Raid by the FBI in connection with the Mueller Enquiry.

chronology: 2019, the year of 5G.

Well despite the hype, 5G has arrived, but only in tiny of 'Hotspots' in places around the world, and there is still no town at all yet with a 5G cell tower system in place.

But machines using 5G are likely to be seen soon in Hospitals, Ports, Government Buildings, Universities, and Airports. The machines using the network will do everything from check visitors I.D.s to collect baggage to find cargo and sweep the floors.

Eventually when the 5G Networks are in place the 'Internet of Things' will be possible as virtually everything will have a recognition tag on, and 5G supported devices will report the contents of everything from your cars Gas Tank to the contents of your fridge. This could lead to some humerous situations such as you telling a friend you have to call in to a store for some cat food, 'why you have three packs in your cupboard' he may reply. If you are slack on your security your every detail of your home would be available to hackers.

It will be around 10 years before most Americans begin to notice the beginnings of 5G in their lives, and around 20 to 30 years before 5G has any real impact on how they and everyone else in the world lives day to day. But be sure, when 5G is up and running, the world will change for ever from what it had been.

chronology: So who called CNN?

Conspiracy Theorists have been speculating how CNN knew Roger was about to be arrested. But after listening to all the Buzz on the subject most Americans seem to conclude it was just a neighbour of Roger who saw the FBI getting ready in the street to raid Roger's house. A quick call to CNN and the News Teams were there.

chronology: This date in 1996 William Bonim is executed by the State of California.

One of the California Officials who dealt with Bonim after his arrest called him 'the most evil human I have ever met ' . California Governor at the time had no regrets signing his execution papers.

It is thought Bonim tortured and murdered around 40 men and boys.

Zanjan: For evil, he couldn't compete with John Wayne Gacy, who, for his last meal ordered a bucket of Kentucky fried chicken, a dozen fried shrimp, and.......a diet coke.
His last words were "kiss my ass".

He was executed by lethal injection but oddly.....very oddly, something went wrong with the injection and there was complications.....chemicals in the IV into his arm went bad......witnesses saw it so the window blinds were quickly drawn. Then, 10 minutes later, the blinds were opened again and the execution resumed. Right.

The young lady from Georgia is 25 today.

What is it with Georgia? Holly Hunter, and Julia Roberts also are Georgia girls. Beautiful and talented ladies of the South.
