R E B E C C A: i never accused you of giggling about it ocd....but wot i find dishearting is that before the end of the first page the serious issue of women being raped had been twisted and the topic had become about that very small percentage of women who cry rape, N that always always happens. Im not disputing that goes on im not saying they shouldnt be punished but its a separate issue.

OCD_OCD: the topic was not "twisted". Claiming a false rape should be treated equally as that of a rapist. In no way was Geoff or anyone excusing it. As a matter of fact, Geoff seemed to think it was a good idea.

Honestly, Becca, it seemed to be you who wanted to make a joke of it by laughing about swaggering around like John Wayne and doing pelvic thrusts.

R E B E C C A: no its changing the subject by making the issue about women who cry rape......the women who do that make it harder for the ones who have been raped....why? Because they become the focus of rape related issues including discussions

OCD_OCD: it was a natural progression of the topic. it is you squirming to make your comments seem like they were on topic that tried to turn the topic toward you rather than the subject matter.

R E B E C C A: Thank you! You just agreed with my point which was.... its always a natural progression of the topic....that was my point.....have another read..and it shouldn't be...they are two completely separate issues. woman who crys rape is the criminal.....woman who reports a rape is the victim why does it always have to naturally progress onto the first issue.

Serabi:

It was shown to rapists in jail and few of them could walk after seeing what the Rapex could do. Most of them paper-clipped to a corner and thought about the future.

It ids a soft device, but the barbs are lethal to certain male parts.

Women are now sick and tired of being the recipients of male aggression.

If women use this as a revenge tool they should be prosecuted in court. The barbs can only be removed in a hospital.

I think this is a last desperate act of woman in Africa to protect themselves.

The rape statistics or South Africa is wrong anyway, many rapes never get reported because we have had many cases of rape victims are raped in the cells by the policemen on duty.

Rape - It's an instruction:-

Rape - it's a correction:-

lavendar_star: This product is needed not just for African women but women world wide, this is how serious rape is taken in the West. I see your still on that rape only happens in Africa.

"Amazon UK has continued to offer controversial clothing on its website hours after an American fashion firm was forced to apologise for selling "Keep Calm And Rape" T-shirts.
The discovery comes after the "Keep Calm And Rape A Lot" shirts, offered for sale by the Solid Gold Bomb company, were withdrawn following widespread criticism.
A spokesman for Amazon UK told Sky News that the 'rape' garments were no longer available and said: "I can confirm that those items are not available for sale."
However, although Amazon has withdrawn that item, it sill offered shirts from the same firm that apparently advocate domestic violence.
One shirt for sale on Saturday morning in both Britain and Germany was emblazoned with the message: "Keep Calm And Hit Her".
Another for sale through Amazon said: "Keep Calm And Grope On".
Critics of the T-shirts quickly let their feelings be known by posting scores of negative comments on the relevant Amazon pages about the online retailer and the fashion company.
One said: "Do the decent thing and pull this disgusting item now. Remove all items by the same company to show them this will not be tolerated."
Another online customer, Jody, said: "Your on a roll now Amazon. So not content with supporting and encouraging rape your also advocating violence against women.
"Domestic violence is a crime. Real men don't beat there partners."
Amazon listed the manufacturing quality as "Fine Jersey T-Shirt", saying the items were made by American Apparel prior to printing in the US.
When Solid Gold Bomb withdrew the 'rape' garment it also posted a statement on its website which said: "We have been informed of the fact that we were selling an offensive T-shirt primarily in the UK.
"This has been immediately deleted as it was and had been automatically generated using a scripted computer process running against 100s of thousands of dictionary words."
Solid Gold Bomb said it received death threats and its Twitter account was bombarded with scores of angry messages - many of which said: "Rape is not a joke."
Solid Gold Bomb replied: "We're sorry for the ill-feeling this has caused! We're doing our best here to fix the problem."
It said the scripted programming process that created the slogan was compiled by "only one member of our staff", but that it "accepted the responsibility of the error".
Solid Gold Bomb said it sends its T-shirts from Worcester in Massachusetts to throughout the US, UK, Germany, Canada and 79 other countries daily.
:: The Twitter and Facebook accounts of Solid Gold Bomb have since been taken down.

As stated numerous times.... I comment on things that happen in Africa, I live here. You seem to assume whenever I speak about African women, I only refer to black women! I live in Africa, I;m an African woman. I may be white, but I;m still African. I may be of French decent, but now Africa is in my soul.

Get off the colour issue, you have a boulder on your shoulder. Get the monkey off your back!

I don't care that black babies and old black grannies of 90 get raped."

"Black woman state that rape is part of the patriarchal society.

Read this slowly - Would I worry and post so much about the plight of mainly black women and baby rapes if I didn't care???? I care about each and every one, it hurts."

"Why does the UK take our Rape crisis more seriously than our own defunct government?? '
- because black woman have been raped for thousands of years - it's the culture where black men think of woman as property that can be bought with cattle."

Snippets from some of your posts from your going too far thread, stick by your convictions, dont make out what your talking about the evils of Africa or about Africans your not specifically talking about black people. Own it!!!!!

Serabi:

If I mention colour, it is because I specifically want to. I do that when you start with your racism gibberish... I referred to black babies and 90 year old black woman because those rapes have been here for hundreds/thousands of years. It is a cultural thing.

Rapes happen in other groups as well but it is a more of a 'times' trend, meaning it happens all over the world.

Luckily, I have never heard of a white baby raped and cut up for witch doctor medicine. The farm killings can include old women being raped - that is part of that specific crime.

South Africa is sinking into an abyss. I post, not often my own opinions, but news articles, because I care about Africa, can't you understand that???

The part about black women being raped more was accompanied by a Youtube clip were a black business woman stated that it is part of the patriarchal society and part of the culture..

BTW: I married my husband without my dad receiving a single cow for me! Can't you see that the worth of black women are measured in COWS? Doesn't it bother you? It bothers me! Any woman or child is valuable.

I truly cannot understand where your arguments are leading.... You don't like me personally, I don't care. But don't you see that what is happening here is EVIL, or are you OK with the status quo?

I do remove posts that get to page 4 or 5. I wish more people would do the same.

Whimsical Fairy: Prosecutor: Man raped, abused 13 infants, children and videotaped attacks

Middlesex District Attorney's Officer
John Burbine, 49, of Wakefield, Mass., is accused of sexually abusing more than a dozen young children.

By NBC News staff

A Massachusetts man raped and sexually abused more than a dozen young children in their homes and videotaped the assaults, a prosecutor said Thursday.
The purported victims were as young as 8 days old, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said.

“This is among the most troubling and disturbing cases of child abuse ever prosecuted in Middlesex County,” Leone said in a statement.

John Burbine, 49, of Wakefield, was indicted Thursday by a Middlesex grand jury on more than 100 counts of child sex offenses. He gained access to many of the children through a child care service operated by his wife, Leone said at a news conference Thursday.

According to authorities, Burbine and his wife advertised child care and tutoring services on various websites including parenting websites and coupon service websites. They also transported children to another family’s home for day care and ran a summer activities program in which they took children to various places, prosecutors said.

Burbine raped and sexually assaulted at least 13 infants and young boys and girls who were in his care from August 2010 through August 2012, according to the indictment. Many of the children were abused multiple times over several months or years, the charges allege.

The victims ranged in age from 8 days to 3½ years old and are from Stoneham, Medford, Newton, Reading, Melrose, Woburn and Waltham, prosecutors said.

Investigators said they found images and videos on Burbine’s home computer of the victims “posed in various states of nudity and engaged in sexual acts” “It is alleged the defendant videotape recorded the assaults on the victims,” the prosecutor’s office said.

“He committed these unspeakable crimes in the victims’ homes and communities. Further, the defendant filmed the repeated, unthinkable abuse,” Leone said. “The defendant gained access and opportunity to abuse young children through advertising child care services with his wife, who operated a tutoring and child care business, which was not licensed. Children are our most vulnerable victims and we will continue to prosecute to the fullest extent those who harm or exploit them.”

Burbine’s wife, Marian Burbine, 46, of Wakefield, has been indicted on charges of reckless endangerment of a child and operating an unlicensed day care business. Prosecutors said she was not present during the alleged rapes and did not know about them. She is free on bail, with conditions that she wear a monitoring bracelet, stay in her home from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., and have no contact with alleged victims, clients, former emloyees, and any children under 16.

John Burbine was originally arrested Sept. 28 in Reading by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office after an investigation into allegations of unlicensed child care at Waterfall Education Center, the business run by his wife, purportedly uncovered evidence of a sexual assault on a child.

Leone said his office obtained a court order shutting the business down while the criminal investigation continued. Following John Burbine’s arrest, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said it discovered more victims as well as video evidence allegedly showing the assaults on the victims, leading to the indictment Thursday.
