Thread Crapping. (Page 3) Fruitbat1919: If it is a wasteland, then again I ask....what are we to do about it? It is far too much of a cop out to say 'this is wrong'.....look at it...we made it what it is.....we can make it so much more....or we can just moan about it and take no responsibility for it ourselves. xox G xox: The Wire Wall killed off forum posting.....you know it .....i know it .....we all know it *Stewart moment there sorry* I for one like the wasteland being a mixed bag of all sorts. duncan124: Rod doe's n't mention sarcasm any where just negative posts in forums. If the post is disagreeing with the idea of the thread then it is negative and indeed sarcastic. Fruitbat1919: I did read it. Is that not sarcasm, suggesting that I did not read your post? Disagreement with the idea of the thread, still does not equate to being negative of sarcastic.
duncan124: "RUBY: open a room for that make rated R and have fun forums are debates not a place to argue or offend users for no reason " Fruitbat1919: There I disagreed with your statement. At no time was I being sarcastic. The only negative that could be suggested, is that I did not then suggest a positive stance. The reason I did not, was due to trying to clarify first, why you stated such...hence the question. Stewart75: Actually Ruby........... I don't think I'm the most hated at all.............. I'm only hated by those who I want to hate me................... RUBY: sorry didn't mean hate hate is a bad ugly word what I meant is the most noted to cause trouble but there's also many others that do it Miss Eleven: http://www.wireclub.com/about/rules: Arguments, fighting, trolling, etc. 'It is ok to disagree with someone as long as the conversation remains civil and polite. People have disagreements from time to time and a quarrel is nothing to worry about until it goes on too long, gets out of hand, or steps up in intensity. Being rude to other members will not be tolerated, regardless of who started the argument.' ________________________________ I think the main idea here is that when a thread has been created for the obvious intent of a 'serious' discussion, vs one that is 'just for fun', then this rule regarding 'thread-crapping' will be more heavily enforced. The 'just for fun' threads are clearly not the focus. I know we all have common sense here, so let's use it Whimsical Fairy: Duncan, I don't know how talking about Aliens could be considered a "serious discussion" Whimsical Fairy: There are a lot of St. Hedwigs Duncan...which one is that way? At first I thought that was the name of Harry Potters school...but I guess that was "Hogwarts" Did you know though that was the name of Harry Potters owl...it was (Hedwig) She died somewhere over Europe in 1997 (according to Wiki) LostInTheSeventies: I don't know anything about it either, but I was (edit) very happy Rod posted this thread. (Edited by LostInTheSeventies) Whimsical Fairy: This is the way I look at off topic, it is off topic because we all go off topic...I'm not being disrespectful though. If I get a 24 hour suspension for going off topic...I guess I will really have to go out into the "real" world | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
