If the post is disagreeing with the idea of the thread then it is negative and indeed sarcastic.

Fruitbat1919: There I disagreed with your statement. At no time was I being sarcastic. The only negative that could be suggested, is that I did not then suggest a positive stance. The reason I did not, was due to trying to clarify first, why you stated such...hence the question.

I think the main idea here is that when a thread has been created for the obvious intent of a 'serious' discussion, vs one that is 'just for fun', then this rule regarding 'thread-crapping' will be more heavily enforced. The 'just for fun' threads are clearly not the focus.

I know we all have common sense here, so let's use it
