Corwin: Hmmm... steel wings would definitely provide good slap protection... but I feel the weight ratio would make them unsuitable for practical flight. I would suggest Aluminum, or even Titanium which would give you adequate heat protection if flying at speeds exceeding mach 2, and yet still provide adequate protection from the slaps of offended women.
