Comrade_: Yes, China, Russia and North Korea has the ability to attack any country but do they want to? I don't think so, unless there is something to trigger/start it.
The young boy has only a few years of training, his uncle Kim Jong II gave his opinion that he believe that the ruling elites will keep the young successor as a symbolic figure head, at least till he's fully trained.
btw What showed that he has the "will" to attack the US?

I do accept the question, yet what makes America launch a war on Vietnam, Iraq or Iran (I think the battle cries had already started) to show power to control, to be the one, see jack every body wants to be the 'one' under the veil of whatever reason proposed to the mass.

Not all countries are the same, while I know there's possibilities of a war, I think that some countries will try best to avoid it since it will do more harm than good...esp. countries as China who made it public that they're more for economic growth than warfare. Notwithstanding that if they're "provoked" then they'll attack...

There is an abstract by Han HO Suk, Director Centre for Korean Affairs it started with the fallowing sentence (didn't you read my previous post). you can Google it too, it is even an old file.

"North Korea has not only the military power but also the political will to wage total war against the United States".

I didn't say war is coming I said the North Koreans are considered by the majority as feeble and hunger-striked nation while the people from the US Intel think it is a worthy opponent even to be feared than Russia and China.

Hyenablood: well up here in Canada I believe that we care a little if the US society implodes, beause that would affect their economy and our economy is tied to theirs ( as are many ) so we don't really want the whole country to blow up

OCD_OCD: Sorry, Hyena, I meant that we don't care if the N. Korean society implodes. Their human rights abuses are beyond belief.

Comrade_: N. Korea's society goes beyond their military and their leaders, the majority are citizens keep that in mind.

OCD_OCD: They are slaves. They are not citizens. They are fodder.

Comrade_: To you perhaps, but they do have a right to get out of that system and an imploded society will make things worse for them. I'm for being against their military and leaders but the people there are as you, no matter how they are treated.

OCD_OCD: They are not allowed to leave. Don't act like it's a free society there. It's not.

Regardless of what system they are under, I do think they have that human right to be considered with as much importance as you set for yourself. An imploded society will affect them greatly, more than their military or leaders. Think on that, they're not lesser to S.Koreans or anyone else.

Hyenablood: yes they patrol their boarders for that reason, why patrol if people arn't trying to leave ?

OCD_OCD: They are already poverty striken, starving and abused. How much worse does it get?

Hyenablood: it gets worse by the army and goverment controlling a person's very emotions, if the masses arn't balling their eyes out and throwing themselves on the ground in 'grief ' over the leaders death, then the person is a traitor that will be wisked away by the army to be tortured and killed.

Hyenablood: reading all these posts makes me happy to live in Canada, where the worse thing I have to worry about is snowstorms and cold tempatures.

Comrade_: I think they patrol to protect the borders from 'enemies'. NKorea is pretty secretive to maintain that I'd assume they'll put these things in place.

Hyenablood: yes but they also do not trust their own people to stay in such a 'wonderful' place, lots of people want to leave because of all the craziness, but cannot because they can't have a passport, can't get on a plane, can't go anywhere or do anything suspectious that will have the army spieing on them and evenually arresting them and torturing them for being 'spies' or 'traitors' even 'assassins'. Any excuse to kill them and bury the bodies, never to be see ever again.
Why would anyone want to get away from that ?
