I retorted that there is no free care here and was no option for my father and his parent. So therefore, ALL people are not disgusting trailer trash for having to deal with circumstances as best they can and with access to the services they have. Rabbit 88: welcome to the real world yourself Jetters.......my parents were immigrants thanks to the war and could not even speak English when they first came to Canada. My father was a factory worker and my mother was a cleaning lady...............yet as poor as they were.........they ALWAYS found a way. 1) they never collected 1 dime of welfare. 2) they found a way to work and learn the English language by getting a Canadian education. 3) they were ALWAYS EMPLOYED. 4) they then found gainful employment in their true career fields.....Mother=nurse, father=engineer. 5) they managed to put their kid through college. 6) they managed to buy a home. 7) they managed to feed the family. and 8) they managed to find a way NOT to put my grandmother in a nursing home. through hard work, drive, determination, they FOUND A WAY!!!!......pity that those lessons and way of life has been lost on so many of your age Jetters.
