Censorship on Wireclub Bumpa: Censorship is an anachronism that belongs back in Nazi Germany 1930's, maybe present day China, Iran and Myanmar. It has no place here! I frequently read posts, blogs, msgs from members celebrating the violent deaths of political opponents or msgs of support for American soldiers as they laughingly machinegun Afghan civilians. Disturbing but not worthy of censoring. Imagine my surprise when a pretty girl is suspended for posting a picture of herself skinnydipping! Not only herself, but all members who use the same computer to access their accounts are suspended too! Come on Wireclub! How can a bit of tit be more harmful to society than murder? Get some real values please!!!!  lavendar_star: I totally get where ur coming from Bumpa, but I guess from their perspective it could be classed as porn n passed around beyond wire but suspension seems excessive. The rules are exactly what this is about! Time to change them. I personally feel kids reading some of the posts on war is infinitely more harmful than seeing a naked body. After all most kids saw a tit or 2 when they were being fed as babies. It's exactly this kind of attitude that results in people growing up with a sense of shame, or warped perspective about their bodies. @Lavendar. There is no way on earth a bare boob could possibly be seen as "porn" and I'm quite sure members of wire are aware that any pics they post can be copied and disseminated beyond wireclub, I know I've seen a few of mine pop up in most unexpected places/ websites. (Post deleted by Sarcastic Dots ) lavendar_star: I have to disagree with bare boobs not being seen as porn not that I have problem with women flashing their titties its their titties, but I think that on many TV shows bare breast are only shown after the watershed i.e. past 9pm and lad mags (as we say in the U.K) are on the top shelf and films that have naked breasts are normally classified as 15yrs and over. A women breasts are sign of sexuality, I not getting to debate about it all but if nudity is against the wirerules than bare boobs is generally classed as nudity. I agree that the average teen has seen nudity on the net and that breasts is something people are exposed to when their younger i.e. their mums lol. But women fighting for the right show their boobs is not exactly something should be high on the feminist agenda lol. As for talk on war well the news and newspapers always have images or talk of war so they are exposed to that in life as well.
