Magic! (Page 2) franklin1950: just went to one of my forum topics and there is an delete option there beneith those that posted comments there. i did not delete anyone to test it but the delete option appears to be true. i do not approve of this new thing . if a post is offencive in some way cnly a modeator should have the power to delete a comment after it has been reported and reviewed as to being in need of being deleted. i think this delete option being by the member who posts the forum will be to often abused. don't like someones comment .... delete it loosing and argument to someone .... delete it i think this delete option will ruin the flow of the topic in the forums . i see abuse of this new power this is a bad idea on so many levels . if a person deletes there own comment the space then says deleted by member will the new delete option now say ... censored by the poster of this forum wireclub administration should seriously reconsider this and remove it. it is a very bad idea that will be abused and misused Harlet: there is a big difference in deleting a post that disagrees with you, too posts that are junking up and spamming the heck out the conversations going on with in a thread............... i think it's a big whoop pe............ gonna come in handy ................................. of course there will be consequences for those with how dare you delete my spamming you noise........................... tempers.............. ah ha ha ha ha WhispersMist: Of course some people will use the feature in a way it wasn't intended. Personally, I think it is a great feature once it is turned back on. There are times that some of us would like to have a serious conversation or debate without some turd coming in for no other reason then to disrupt the flow of conversation. StuckInTheSixties: Fuck! Franklin is right! It appears that the person that initiates a thread will have total censorship power over all posts. What kind of discourse is THAT supposed to promote? Hoodlum Forester: I NEED this power! Then again, once abused, the power would keep people from posting in the threads of those who abused it.. o_o Dilly o_o: Its a stupid feature that shouldn't be implemented, but in saying that it would be a crack up for 5mins.....till turns ridiculous. Harlet: ya got a problem with the word dismiss, cause you can dismiss all kinds of live and updating commenting on your friends blogs etc,on your home page...................... i can't help it, i find it amusing..................................................... Hoodlum Forester: Unfair! I want the ability to abuse power! Also, I'd like to report SITS for stealing my thread idea. Is this the right line for that..? o_o Dilly o_o: Morning Harlet Dont steal our thunder Merc, we were on a roll with this convo, could hav stirred some controversy...kill joy. Oh those pesky little bugs * calls pest controll* Hoodlum Forester: Also, I'd like to be a mod. King Mod. Does my total disregard for people's feelings have any effect on that? I could pretend to care.. o_o Dilly o_o: Piss off...im going to be Queen Mod b4 you get to be King Mod....mate wed own this place lolssssssssss Harlet: no mod bashing in any way shape form or fashion, eeeee uuuuu not me, having too hear folks *itch all day, over some little slight or dysfunction, no way .......................... Harlet: besides they be running too find some one of a higher stature when i started hey free riding get a grip Hoodlum Forester: Is "piss off" a bad thing..? Or is it sexual? I don't have my Aussie to English guide with me. Harlet: hey have ya noticed how some folks round here get too spell sounds like truck spelled right, while the rest of are following miss spell it rules................................. o_o Dilly o_o: Its a term of endearment, i mean it with love Who said anything about listening to the common folk, we wont have time for such trivial things. | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
