(Edited by Jetters) StuckInTheSixties: Let's put this in context. All of that vitriol was spewed over the course of three days was aimed at someone who is only famous because Rush's bile made her so. Had he not vomited his bile all over her, almost no one would have any idea who she was. In fact, most people probably wouldn't be familiar with her name. You complain about "years" of targeting Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. But those women were public figures, running for president, and uttering stupidity after stupidity after stupidity. They climbed on the presidential stage, the political stage, stayed there for years, and remain there of their own choosing. You make it seem like they've been suffering years of being called a "slut" and prostitute" (and all of the other remarks) in the same manner that Rush did with Fluke for "years." It ain't the same. Those women were being subjected to scrutiny because they chose to put themselves in the position the did, for "years." Fluke testified in committee for ten minutes.
