hello rod & braden! perhaps the block thingie doesn't .......... envogue: dear new wireclub: just putting my 2 cents in here..............MODS are never on anymore, they 'hide' offline, perhaps that has to do with the new rules w/e idk, u took away the KICK VOTE, so if nobody is on, to do something and BLOCK doesn't work when someone is schizo (which WIRES TROLLS ARE) they always come back under another name, w/e, so honestly, this new thing u have going on doesn't work, because the ppl who come on here to do their thing, whether it be chat or end up being a meanie, some of them have the tech minds (obvs not me) keep coming back AFTER being reported,(maybe actually suspended) under a new name, etc. OK, wire was my first chat site, over 3 1/2 yrs ago i joined, newly separated, new to the whole net chat, i realize u guys got alot going on, but what i've seen and i know u don't care , is wire giving these ppl who harass and stalk ppl endlessly, and for whatever reason, u let them keep coming back. i realize its the net, blah blah, but what u don't realize is u hold in ur power, letting these ppl who spread hate, racism, just spew b.s. and u gotta know that there will be one person there on that receiving end, who starts to believe that b.s. Blocking doesn't help when these ppl can keep coming back. K? u do have a responsibility. (Edited by envogue)  (Post deleted by staff ) mo_bishezz: the thing is you cant ip ban people... its just not gonna work. what works and was beautifully democratic was the KICK and CREEP vote system... i like a lot of features of the new wire but the creep/kick votes were something they reaaaaally needed to keep. mo_bishezz: well there still needs to be a certain number of kicks to boot sombody out the room or seriously wreck sombodies rep so they cant come in... yes it can be abused but i think its the far lesser of 2 evils and gives wireclub a bit of individuality and personality too. Put the power back into the hands of the people that actually want to chat. And let the trolls troll each other in exile once again. Problem solved. Failing that, perhaps provide a definition of each of the TOS and ensure the mods firstly comprehend then and then that they will actually recognize the occurrence of the transgressions. I think the mods are afraid of the trolls to be perfectly honest. If you stop commenting on what they say, stop making blogs about them, stop making things up about them or generally cause a rabble about it, they go away. You all complain about your pictures being stolen - then take all your pictures down. This is not school, block them, delete their comments or get off the internet, you have no place being here. I have watched everyone who has complained in the past three years I have been here get into on line arguments with people, then when it gets too much for them, they complain about being trolled to mods. These people are not your parents, you can't handle it the answer is simple - delete your account and do not return. Not everybody is going to like everybody else, and if they did, lets be honest, it would be creepy. Not everyone has the same point of view on things either - if you disagree with someone, laugh at them and move on!! You all talk of being bullied as if what is being said on here is somehow effecting your real lives, well if it is - you spend too much time on line!!
