~LoisLane~: My friend has been fighting with the earwigs since the nice weather has started. They are just the ugliest little buggers.

OCD_OCD: I think they are called turkey gnats or buffalo gnats here. They die when it reaches 100 degrees.

Nasty suckers should be dead by now because it's been over 100 for a week. Suuuuuucks!

~LoisLane~: The earwigs here are nothing compared to the ones around the world. They are way bigger in other places good lord. BUT they get into small little cracks and spaces. Totally nasty looking and have a name that just hearing it gives you the willies. Wrath of Khan much.

OCD_OCD: I got chewed up by "nits" in England. The housekeeper said to watch out for nits, and I waved and was like....okay (thinking that surely I'd know a nit if I ran across it).

OMG! I didn't even know they got in my hair. I itched for DAYS. Filthy things. LOL

Give me big old mosquitos any day. At least I have the joy of smashing them into goo when they bite.

~LoisLane~: Sick man.....I thought nits were lice eggs, gross eh. I hate mosquitos, there is no point, Just no POINT for them to be around. There a real pain in the ass (and everywhere else ). They carry diseases and pass them on from person to person. Its the only thing I hate about going up north....mosquitos and black flies.

OCD_OCD: Gawd, I hate those big old flies. When they bump into me it gives me the willies.

~LoisLane~: Hahaha that sounds like Horse flies but black flies are tiny little shit heads that buzz all up in your face and eyes and ears. Deer flies are the worst cuz they take a chunk of your skin after biting.

jink88: We have them all here! Black flies were brutal in May. They are tiny little shits Lois and by the millions can sure wreck a weekend. I hate Deet too, if it gets into your mouth or eyes it is very unpleasant. I find a good soaking of white vinegar works pretty well.
