Whilst primarily in the G chord, it starts out with Axl hooting his horn to a whistling melodies to carry through the intro of the song. A lovely little rock ballad that people all over will still recognize from the Intro whistling, or the strums of the guitar. Classic little rock diddy. (Capo 1st Fret) NuNu_The Goldfish: Creedence Clearwater Revival: Fortunate Son Credence Clearwater Revivial, one of the rock'n'roll bands that epitomized Rebellious tunes of the 60's and 70's. So most will remember this tune as a type of counter-culture, though listen to the tune, outside of what is is meant to be about and appreciate the his angry, throaty vocals sound of John Fogerty where he is emoting the song with the song’s catchy guitar licks and energetic drumming.
